The year 1989 birthed the renowned Windells Camp and High Cascade Snowboard Camps at Mt. Hood, Oregon. What resulted today is a 28-acre action sports mecca that serves as the pathway for nearly every action sports professional and these special Roamer Sites give you a sampling of that experience.

Guests love it here "Great camp setup with RV sites and tent Glamping site in nice big canvas tents. I had a quick in and out one night stay and enjoy the big trees and peace and quiet. Located next to an actions sports camp, and the hills which allow for lots of hiking and relaxing"
Having your own private bathroom that is code protected is nice. The bathrooms have a great set-up with plenty of hooks and places to put your things. Some people leave their stuff behind however.
I was there on a rainy weekend so it was pretty quiet. I got in several walks in between rain showers and found the grounds very nice. The campsite I utilized was a bit messy due to being under trees but that's life in the forest! I was able to eat my dinner on the picnic table provided. Overall, I recommend this place. Sidney, my contact person and greeter, was fabulous! She was friendly and opened gates for me and then took me to the bathrooms and made sure I had the codes sent to me in a text. She told me to text her any time if I had any questions or problems.
I loved staying here specifically for the sauna and cold plunge!!! The cold plunge is a park of the creek that is sectioned off into the perfect place to plunge. The tent was warm and the bedd were comfy. there are restaurants a 5 min drive away which is a huge plus!
What a fantastic place to stay. We were greeted at the gate by Noah, who gave us all the information we needed to have a comfortable stay. (Including where we would find an excellent dinner, just a few minutes down the road.) The tent was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Restroom and shower were a very short walk. Plenty of parking and dog friendly. The other guests were quiet and respectful. Absolutely recommend this place to others.
A gem! Definitely want to come back and explore everything this place has to offer. Perfect base camp for a ski weekend on Mt. Hood.
