Riverside Cabin offers a peaceful and private retreat right on the Sandy River, perfect for those seeking a touch of nature with some creature comforts. The cabin's cozy atmosphere is complemented by a king-size bed and a propane heater, which is especially appreciated during colder months. Though the walk to the cabin involves a small hill and the bathroom is a bit of a trek, the scenic views and the sound of the river create a relaxing environment. Hosts are responsive and helpful, making sure guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
Everyone who saw my pics HAD to know where I was! Small 1 room cabin kept warm with the propane heater they offer and my heated sleeping bag. Follow a short but a bit steep at one point trail down to your private river access. Take a camping potty to save yourself walking up to the very clean porta potty at the top of the path. Side note-the cart to bring yourself down is sturdy and fits a ton, and if you are like me and have to carry all your groceries in with one trip, you will overload it. If you, do be careful on the hill, i was here in the snow and it was too heavy and too slippery to try and take everything in one trip.
Helpful hosts. Small hill and short footbridge plus well kept trail made access easy. Trail is partly lighted with motion sensing lights, which can help with nighttime access, but doesn't intrude on site. Clean, well maintained porta-potty. Level tent site right on the river. Thanks!
What a lovely glamping spot this is! My partner and I had a lovely time at this site! We spent time at the river as it has a great little beach and sipped coffee in the morning while my dog explored, had a fire in the large fire pit, played games at the picnic table outside, and stayed warm inside with the help from the propane heater we rented. And the bed is king size so there was extra space for my dog to stay warm as well. We will definitely be back and plan on exploring the tent sites at the property as well.
The cabin was very cozy! Thankful for the heater, very comfortable kingsize bed. Host was responsive and great. Thanks!!
