Bailey's Basecamp offers a secluded and peaceful camping experience, perfect for those looking to connect with nature while still enjoying some modern amenities like clean bathrooms and showers. The hosts, Ross and Keith, are praised for their helpful and accommodating nature, often assisting guests with gear transport up the steep trail to the campsites. Many reviews highlight the proximity to the Bailey Trail System, making it an ideal spot for hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts. However, some guests mention the challenging access to the campsites due to the steep terrain and the distance from parking and bathroom facilities.

Best spot at Baileys!
This was our second time at Baileys Base Camp at the top of the mountain. We love camping up there. Baileys basecamp has added some extra very nice bathrooms. They helped get our stuff up and down the mountain. Love the peace and quiet up there! Can’t wait to be back! Thanks for the hospitality!

My recent camping trip was incredible! The campsite we chose was beautifully open, surrounded by nature but still felt wonderfully secluded. It provided the perfect mix of open space for activities and a peaceful, quiet environment, allowing us to truly disconnect and enjoy the outdoors. One of the standout features was the cleanliness of the facilities. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, well-maintained, and felt almost like being at home—an unexpected luxury when camping. The combination of cleanliness, privacy, and natural beauty made this spot a perfect retreat.

Probably only rent the cabin.
Overall I cannot recommend camping at the campsites here. They are up a very steep road with loose dirt and rocks, too steep for anything but an ATV. There is parking at the bottom, but that is also where the bathrooms are. The bathrooms are very nice, but difficult to get to and I would strongly recommend trying to go down the road at night. Besides that, the hosts and the campsite was nice. The cabin doesn't have any of the above problems, being down next to the road and bathrooms.

Secluded weekend away
Amazing, secluded spot. Owners and property manager are all incredibly kind. We will, without a doubt, be returning. Couldn’t have asked for a better campsite.
