Richard was very helpful and has a wonderfully accommodating and peaceful little spot just outside of town.

Afraid we couldn’t stay at the property due to electrical hookup wasn’t working. This was a safety issue for us as our dog would need a/c working in our camper if we left him. But Richard was super helpful first trying to get the electrical to work and then with a recommendation for us to try the Rio Gorge campground down the road, which we did and had a wonderful stay. Would recommend this location if your set up is very small like a camper van or less as it’s a tight fit to back in. We had an 18’ trailer with pickup truck and it still to big for pad. Hoping electrical issue will get cared for but very much appreciate the host working with us on resolution.

We showed up and didn't have service in order to contact the host. We knew where to park and that was it. We could have moved the car and slept in that spot but didn't feel like that was worth the money. To be fair, we didn't get to see/get further instructions about where we would have been so might have been nice/worth it. Where we assumed we would be did not feel worth it. We relocated to a primitive campsite down the road that put us closer to the river (access), more privacy, and prettier.

A very charming campsite. Richard was a wonderful host and the Pilar Yacht Club and Cafe had yummy food. Would come back again if in the area.
