Enchanted Circle Campground (E&lt;&lt;)

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Stars Simply Aren't Enough for This Little Piece of Heaven! Some places are beautiful. Others are peaceful. But every once in a while, you stumble upon somewhere so extraordinary that it manages to be both, leaving you with memories you'll carry long after you've packed up and headed home. Enchanted Circle Campground is that place! We spent three unforgettable nights in our camper van on this breathtaking 161-acre ranch, and I can confidently say it lives up to every bit of its enchanting name! We stayed at Campsite 4, and hands down, I believe it's the most beautiful spot on the property! Between the sweeping mountain vistas, towering pines, wide-open meadows, and tranquil ponds, the scenery was absolutely mesmerizing. There's a certain kind of silence here you don't realize you've been missing until you're surrounded by it. Not an empty silence, but one filled with the gentle sounds of nature and a peace that settles deep into your soul. Our days were spent hiking, lazily swaying in the hammock, cooking over an open fire, making s'mores, and taking the little rowboat out on the pond. Nothing extravagant. Nothing rushed. Just the beautiful simplicity of being present and appreciating the magnificent landscape surrounding us. And as if the scenery weren't enchanting enough, we had some unexpected visitors who absolutely stole our hearts! The ranch's friendly pigs and their ridiculously adorable little piglets made several appearances around our campsite. We even watched horses grazing in the surrounding fields, creating scenes so picturesque they could have been lifted straight from a postcard. Those sweet, unscripted encounters were some of our favorite memories! The hospitality deserves its own recognition! When we needed firewood, the owner personally delivered it to our campsite for an incredibly reasonable fee. And let me tell you, their definition of a "bundle" is exceptionally generous! Forget those pitiful little bundles sold at most campgrounds. This was a plentiful, substantial amount of wood, more than worth the small price! What impressed us even more was that the owner took the time to stay and visit. He shared his vision and future plans for this remarkable property, and his enthusiasm made it abundantly clear that this ranch is more than just a business to him and his wife. It's a labor of love. Hearing about what's to come made us even more excited to return and watch his vision unfold. In a world that constantly demands our attention, this remarkable little corner of New Mexico gives you permission to slow down, breathe deeply, and simply enjoy being alive. We arrived looking forward to a camping trip and left with something far more meaningful: three nights of beautiful memories, a renewed appreciation for life's simplest pleasures, and a place we'll undoubtedly find ourselves longing to return to. Enchanted Circle isn't just somewhere you camp. It's somewhere you reconnect, recharge, and remember that some of life's greatest luxuries cannot be purchased. They're found in the stillness of the mountains, the warmth of a campfire, s'mores in our bellies, tiny piglets wandering by, horses grazing beneath an endless sky, and the company of someone you love. 10/10 would definitely recommend! The place is beautiful and while private and quiet, it’s close enough to town that if you forget something or find out you need something, it’s just a few minutes drive. Arriving was so smooth and easy! We camped at site 8 and it was amazing! If the altitude hadn’t kicked our butts so bad we would’ve stayed longer! We listened to elk bugle to each other all night and it was incredible! Site 8 does have so pretty high cliffs so if you have small children I would be really careful and cautious! We took our F150 up there with no problems at all. It was dry too which I know can make a difference!

This was our first family camping trip with our 4yo and we had a great time. The sites are large and well thought out, equipped with helpful fire and grill tools. The hammocks, bird feeders, wind chimes, and water cooler for hand washing are really nice touches. The property is really beautiful. Plenty of space to take a walk or ride bikes. We enjoyed watching ducks at the ponds and a family of pigs root around. We live only two hours away and plan to return any time we wish to camp in the Angel Fire area. Stoked they’re building a bathhouse!

We had a great stay at Enchanted Circle Campground and thought it was one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. The fall colors were stunning and we heard elk bugling each morning as we watched the sunrise - truly spectacular! The hosts were extremely responsive and we enjoyed the hand delivered ground pork from their sweet kids. Site 3 was perfect for our 24’ RV and it felt very private the whole time. We cannot say enough good things about Enchanted Circle Campground!

This was our second over night stay at ECC. Years ago we went on a vacation with no plan and found ECC. We fell in love with the peace. Both my now wife and I found relief from the stress of our jobs and can bring our dogs without worry. We love it so much we got married at ECC. We ove the camp ground, love to support, and will be back.

This place made me feel like a disney princess because of how beautiful it was and all of the amazing animals I got to watch while I was camping here. As a woman traveling alone this place felt safe and private and the host even helped me out when I was having car trouble and would have been stranded otherwise. The weather was definitely unpredictable but the views were breathtaking. Site 4 felt like my own personal bird watching paradise.

If you find yourself going to Angel Fire, ECC is a lovely option for RVs, trailers, or tent camping. No hookups, no problem for us. Our site, The Ridge, had plenty of sun (and rain, more later!) to keep the solar panel charging. The well provided cool delicious water as advertised. Arguably the best views of the western night sky, as the campground is on the same side of the highway as the bike park/ski resort and the least amount of tree cover in that direction. Burn ban due to dry conditions and the ongoing Frijoles Fire had us huddled close to the propane heater during some crisp nights, and through a pretty heavy monsoon seasonal downpour! Word of advice: put away all camping and cooking gear as the property's (friendly) piggies and horses will stop through for a visit. And they are curious! Hosts were easy to get a hold of.

This is exactly what I was looking for ! It was magical ! When we arrived , I thought of the old show Bonanaza and their property . All the sites are very nicely spaced out . I felt at least an acre between , my husband said half an acre . Either way , plenty of room for my husband and I and our 3 large dogs . We were allowed to have them leashed at our site. ( plenty of room for them to run around ) then we took them on hikes and swims to the lake . There was sooo many different birds , chipmunks , squirrels , pigs, horses , ducks ..they had clean porta potties .. fresh spring water , fresh eggs and fantastic fresh ground pork .. Three was no need to leave . Site 4 was a dream , over looking the pond and prairie dogs . I plan on coming back next year . The family is soo adorable . I highly recommend for couples and groups . ,

The campsite was lovely! It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. This was my first hipcamp experience and it was great! Camp 8 is tucked back in the trees with lots of privacy. The solar lights at night were a nice touch! It just added something special to the campsite. It was a great stay. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing campground. So much space, such wonderful hosts who think of everything, such beautiful land. And sweet horses! :) The hosts really think of everything. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. We hope to go back again and again!

We camped here in our travel van for 2 nights. There was another site nearby, but I didn’t hear them. There was a portable toilet to use close to the camp site. The open space was beautiful to stay on with our dogs. In the morning, horses wandered up to our site and grazed for a while coming up to get snacks and pets. The potable water was easy to find as was the campsite. We had a great visit and a peaceful time!

Campsite 5 is amazing

We stayed at site 5 on 8/13-15. Landon and Kendra's property was amazing. The campsites are well spaced and very spacious. We camped in a tent and had several flat areas to choose from. A campfire ban was in effect but we were able to use the new custom made charcoal grill. The grill is awesome and has a place to make grilled cheese sandwiches. We fished in the ponds one evening ( no luck) but got to watch the horses come down for their evening watering. We saw a lot of prairie dogs and the bird feeders around camp were always busy with hungry birds )lots of humming birds) and chipmunks. The port a potty was super clean. Really close to town for an easy breakfast or lunch. I highly recommend The Bakery, great food and quick service. There will soon be a bathhouse and general store open and progress looks to be coming along nicely. We were able to purchase some sausage and it was great. I would highly recommend a stay at ECC. and we look forward to coming back. Thank you Landon and Kendra for a peaceful stay. 👍👍

We had such a wonderful experience! The campsite felt like we’re were in the wild, even if the road was a short distance away. The location being just out of town made it easy to make a store run, or go eat in town if we were feeling too lazy to cook. So many little thoughtful things were included in the campsite that were very helpful, charming, and overall made our stay enjoyable: the playing cards, lights around the campground, wind chimes, and even the birdfeeder. The hammocks were the cherry on top, and a perfect place to view the landscape and wildlife. We were lucky to not have neighbors at the campsite next door so we had a lot of privacy. If we did have neighbors, they’d be decently close just fyi. But the campsites are so big there’s a ton of room to spread out. There are roaming pigs and horses on the property as well, which was fun to see. One day the pigs did roam into our campsite but were easily scared off. They were pretty harmless, but maybe they were enticed by us having just finished lunch and wanted to sniff around. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves and want to come back next summer! Pictures don’t even get close to this diamond in the rough. Camp site #3 is awesome. Other campsites are all positioned well away so no issues there. Already making plans for next year. Put ECC on your bucket list. Landon, Kendra and fam are precious. Bluebell on the way guys!

My wife and I enjoyed camping on this beautiful ranch. We were next to another site which was not bad because sites are very large and spacious. We could not see the other campsites so it was still very private. The views were wonderful and night skies were incredible. We would stay there again.
