Two acres of sage flatlands. Close to town but even closer to the mountains. Monte Largo Cañon is a short rocky drive away. Perfectly clean air, peaceful atmosphere, and flawless stars at night. Camp Darkmoon is a school of alternative architecture. On site are a handful of earthen structures. Lodging and tent site are available to book.

I had an amazing night in the dome! I had a quality eleven hour sleep, it was very comfortable and would highly recommend it! It’s a really cool place.

Roan’s Casa Huevo was super cute!! It stayed pretty warm in there too, despite it being 30s in there at night. We had a great chat with him. He’s such a nice guy and we’ll definitely be back if we’re back in the area! Thank you Roan!

Quiet, Rustic Natural
Nice place for a rustic get away. If you want to experience living on the land with natural and inventive amenities you'll like this place. The land is beautiful if you appreciate desert with shrubs. We loved it. Roan is a friendly and interesting host. Lots of stars at night to!

GREAT EXPERIENCE
We got to experience Casa Huevo on a night we were the only visitors to Roan's beautiful land. It was lovely and quiet. The Casa was extremely comfortable and a fun adventure. Roan is a friendly, informative and interesting host. For something fun and different, we highly recommend.
