Mixed feelings

Not what I expected, fun neverthele

Our stay was on gorgeous grounds! If you’re a person like myself not used to ticks, bring LOTS of bug spray containing DEET! Surprisingly the mosquitoes weren’t super bad. We were expecting remote and quiet. We were close to Kelly’s house and the neighbors. The first night it sounded like there was a bar with country karaoke and the second night we heard loudish music. We also heard a TON of ATVS driving around all hours of the night. We enjoyed our stay despite these things. Kelly was friendly and in contact prior to our stay giving directions to find the site. He also gave us some places we could ride our bikes and drop our canoe when he stopped by to meet us. There is water and electricity. We did not use them during our stay.

Beautiful meadow!

Beautiful spot! Really enjoyed the sounds of nature in the morning and the secluded feeling. Owners were kind to stop by and make sure we were settled and enjoying our stay, but otherwise we didn’t see anyone. It’s a full pack-in, pack-out spot but they do have a firepit and some plastic lawn chairs.
