Nice private spot and not a long drive for us. Great for a secluded getaway. we look forward to bringing our seven year-old grandson, who will enjoy exploring the woods, as well as skipping rocks in the river. we don’t usually camp with a group of friends/family, but the space is big enough for those who enjoy doing that. we have already recommended the location to friends.

Bluff hollow is our new favorite place. Our small group camped near the river at the lower site and hiked up the hill to cook our meals. It was peak fall colors and a huge full moon. We enjoyed walking along the river and spotting fossils among the rocks, and we also made the trip to visit mystery cave. One of the kids in our group has a hard time with outhouse toilets but even she thought the outhouse here was good-clean, not smelly or cramped at all. Eric clearly cares for the land and for campers’ experience. It was like having a whole park to ourselves. We can’t wait to come back!

One of our favorite places to camp. Beautiful trees and we love that the dogs can be off leash and walk with us on the trails. Great place to be one with nature. Plus Eric is the best host. Responds right away and checks in to see if you need anything. Highly recommend! Patty

What a gorgeous campsite! Tons of space to roam and explore, and a stunning view of the river and bluffs. Great for secluded solo camping and large groups too! Eric is a five-star host. He is super responsive, and even came down to lend a hand when I lost my dog and ultimately helped me find him. We'll certainly be returning in the future!
