Situated at the head of 140 acres of forested trails 25 minutes from Bangor International Airport; 1 hour from downtown Bar Harbor. Relax and enjoy peaceful forest trails on private land. Explore and find babbling streams, small waterfalls, huge boulders, and interesting rock formations. Within a 20 minute drive is all that Bangor has to offer such as fine dining, movies, and a casino, as well as an incredible assortment of hikes and natural beauty. The main tent is 16x24 canvas with a large wood burning stove with hot water tank, queen size memory foam bed, plenty of room for an additional air mattress (provided upon request), and a simple kitchen setup. There is a shower tent next to the main tent with a composting toilet, laundry machine, and shower area. You will need to provide your own camp shower and power for the laundry machine. There is ample parking on gravel next to the main tent. We will supply each reservation with 20 gallons per week of clean NON-potable water for dishes, bathing, laundry, etc. More can be provided for a small fee. Firewood is not provided but can be purchased nearby. Please do not cut down our trees. Propane is not provided but can be purchased nearby. Reserving our tent is NOT permission to hunt on our land.
