Frankie is a sweetheart! Super fun conversationalist. The land itself is beautiful, very little light pollution, so me and my pal saw plenty of shooting stars. Frankie recommended we face our tent toward the mountain for the morning view and she was 100% right. What a way to wake up!
***Make sure you call Frankie before getting to the site like she recommends! Service can be a little spotty***

Frankie was super sweet and a very accommodating host! We stayed at her place for one night and enjoyed looking at the stars. Her campsite had the best views of the milky way that I have seen in the past 2 years of living in CO!
The only difficult situation we had was that it was extremely windy the night we stayed, causing the tent to make terrible noises all night long. But we can’t control the weather! Just wishing I brought headphones.
Frankie was very kind, and ensured we had proper directions to her home, electricity, water, and that our dog was comfortable on her property.
During our road trip we visited the San Dunes National Park & Lathrop State Park! Highly recommend visiting both of them.

Didn't stay, left and found another
We lulled in and pulled right back out. Please read the fine print. A full RV electrical hookup is considered a 110Volt extension cord. This would not work for us. The RV spot was literally in front of her house, where she kept her large dogs b3hind a chain length fence. Not pleasant at all. The yard was overgrown and there would be no way you could sit in a lawn chair outside, without grass to your knees.

Gorgeous place to spend an evening or a few days - the stars/planets at night are incredible as was the sunrise the next morning! A bit complicated to get too, so arriving before it’s dark would be smart (also I imagine the sunset is gorgeous there too so good idea to arrive in time for that!)
