      Mountaintop Forest Overlook Tent
      One of the best campsites we have been to. The host were very nice and the neighbors are also friendly. We will definitely be coming back.

      Beautiful spot in the CO mountains! Loved waking up to a golden glow of autumn leaves surrounding us. Would definitely stay here again.

      Mountaintop camping
      We loved van camping on Chris' land! It was beautiful and serene! Great views! Beautiful hiking in the neighboring forest! We loved seeing his goats, chickens, dog, and children wander the property as well as the native deer and little grey mountain squirrels! We definitely plan to come again!

      Special place minus the rooster
      Overall, this was a special place for kids to explore and play, You really do feel like welcome guests with such accommodating hosts. But for light-sleepers, I wouldn’t recommend this site. The rooster starts his regular crowing sessions from 4:30-6am, an unwelcome time slot if you’re not a pre-dawn riser.

      The site was pleasant, as were the hosts, but a level parking space and a composting toilet would get it à recommend to friends.
