Small offgrid family farm. Just getting started, still in our first year. We have the desire to grow and raising all our own food and wild medicine. We aren't there yet but it's coming along. We practice regenerative land management by moving our animal around the farm in spring and summer creating the right amount of stress and animal pressure to help our forest thrive and help mitigate wild fires at the same time. Lots of wild fruits like apples, choke cherry, elderberry, current, sand plum, and hawthorn to forage when the time is right. Loads of wild medicine and herbs. We even get some of mother natures animals visiting like eagles, bears, mountain lions, foxes, coyotes, hawks, rabbits, wild birds, deer, an elusive elk herd (but they were in our yard!!!), and antelope to name a few. Small seasonal creek, beautiful views of Greenhorn Mountain, one of the greenest places in all of Colorado, but there are cactus, so watch out as they can be pricks.
