Chris's land was beautiful. Camping in the dense forest was excellent. Having a bathroom was a bonus. Thanks, Chris, for sharing this gem with us.

Lovely quick tent camping spot!
Tent
Really beautiful spot that's fairly easy to get to yet feels like you're in the middle of the wilderness. Short "hike" to the creek bench is a lovely touch, saw a few banana slugs and interesting fungi! Camp spot is beautifully prepared with nice soft woodchips and duff, mostly flat, and super comfy to camp on! We were only there for one rainy night but it was a perfect landing spot for a weekend in Humboldt. Might be a little annoying coming/going down 1.5mi dirt road for a longer stay.

I would highly recommend Chris’s campsite. It is in a secluded section of the woods and is very well kept. The bathroom is also nice and great to have if you’re doing any kind of car or tent camping.

really nice quiet spot, right on a creek. our dog loved it, the spot is not far from the beach so it was easy to do a couple day trips. the road up to the site was egregious but our little yaris made it up no problem. enjoy!
