There is a full size bed, but we do NOT provide linens or bedding so please bring your own. There is a blanket for chilly nights. It can get cold at night so please plan accordingly. There are lights and electricity in cabin, but please no space heaters or electric blankets. Please keep in mind this is a camping experience and while the cabin provides shelter, it is rustic. *Feel free to explore the garden/orchard/greenhouse area (through the small gate by the cabin), just be sure to close the gate behind you to keep the deer out. *As noted, there are an abundance of banana slugs during some times of the year. They are harmless and sometime a little too friendly. Feel free to gently relocate them from around the cabin if needed.

What a sweet offering!
What a sweet offering! Tucked into the woods, close to town but with space to breathe and just be with the bees, trees and birds... the cabin is simple but thoughtfully put together, clean, and welcoming. A great stopover on the road... you will not be disappointed. Thank you, Ted and Emily, for offering your love by way of welcoming others into this little slice of heaven.

Lovely Stay in Glass Cabin
I loved staying at Ted and Emily’s little glass cabin! They were very sweet and made sure my partner and I had everything we needed. The location is great, super close to town, but also secluded enough to get some privacy! Overall, great experience and would stay here again :)

Cozy private cabin
With pets
We loved our cabin stay at Bayside Cabin. The cabin was wonderful - perfect for a home base to travel around the area, and a cozy place to kickback when it's rainy and cold. Ted and Emily were helpful and gracious hosts. The cabin is positioned such that it is private and feels like you are in the middle of the woods. It was a fantastic vacation!

Our northern adventure
What a wonderful little cabin just outside of Arcata! We arrived late and our hosts left the lights on for us and our pups. We were even supplied kindling and logs for the wood stove that was inside and kept us warm and toasty during our stay. The outdoor shower was very refreshing and clean as well as the outdoor kitchen area. Easy to get to with an attentive host who was very responsive to our questions and requests. We're already thinking of returning during the summer! Thank you!

The Cozy Glass Cabin✨
With pets
The glass cabin in the woods was truly a magical experience! We were provided firewood for the little wood burning stove which kept the cabin cozy and warm throughout our rainy stay. Ted and Emily’s coffee and eatery recommendations were absolutely superb as well! I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay near the Humboldt redwoods.
