The Lovelight Ranch is our 5-acre hippie paradise, centrally located in the Coachella Valley. We are near the amazing 1000 Palms Oasis and Coachella Valley Preserve for great day hikes and wildlife viewing, and also near the splendors of Joshua Tree and the high desert. We are happy to offer fun & relaxing activity Experiences such as the Tepee Sound Bath experience, DrumCircle and Didgeridoo experiences, Artistic Endeavor experiences. Sharing makes us Happy and we hope you will choose an Experience or two to enhance your visit and interests. We are within a half hours drive of Palm Springs, recently voted the hippest mid-sized city in the country and Coachella, home of the Coachella and StageCoach Festivals and not so far from the ever amazing Joshua Tree Festival . We are also very near Sam's Hot Water Spa, a chemical free hot springs soaking experience which is the perfect ending to a day of hiking, climbing or just sight-seeing. We have a Pool & Deck , A Horseshoe Pit, Nice Shady Hangouts and plenty to look at in every direction. The Stargazer Bed

Amazing experience!!

It was an incredible experience, it was my first time camping, and I loved it, Mikey and JoAnne welcomed us very well, the equipped kitchen, laundry, bathroom and bedroom with moonlight and stars was incredible, thank you very much, I will definitely come back when possible, 1000 stars.❤️❤️

The Stargazer Bed

Gorgeous campsite, completely fenced-in so the dogs could run free. Comes with kitchen, fire pits, pool, very clean bathroom, even a laundry unit. Basically everything you’d think of and more for a glamping site! Also the bed was perfect for watching the meteor shower. 100/10 recommend

Star Gazing Trip

We were looking for a spot to view the Perseid Meteor Shower. This was a great spot with plenty of great amenities. It was extremely hot (100+ degrees in the daytime), so the temperatures were uncomfortable—but we still enjoyed our stay! We liked the pool, the outdoor shower, the clean restroom with a flush toilet, the different outdoor structures (the artwork, the mini library, etc.). Thank you, Mikey!

Site 3 - LovelightTentsite & Car Camping

Lovely

Lovelight is an interesting place. The owners clearly take pride in their land and were kind and graciously showed us around on arrival. The dogs are very friendly and my dog happily enjoyed playing with them. There were several spots available to us when we arrived and we were offered access to the communal outdoor kitchen. We only stayed one night and it suited our needs, only coming in to stay overnight and watch the meteor shower.

The Stargazer Bed

Stargazing spot

A little hippie haven in the desert. We went here for a meteor shower. The outdoor bed was unexpectedly comfortable. For real, it was a treat! So soft, comfy linens. We were here during peak heat, and arrived just before dusk to avoid it. We used the wood fired pizza oven. Mikey helped us forage fuel and a lighter. If you have experience with these then it’s great! All in all, a very rustic artsy place. Definitely recommend the bed. It can get very windy!
