This is also a rustic site, please be cautious of wildlife (Snakes, animals etc).Welcome to our secluded 10-acre campground! This summer marks our debut as hosts, and we are excited to welcome guests to our special spot. Currently, we offer a spacious, flat pad ideal for van and car camping or tear-drop trailers. The area comfortably fits up to three cars and a few tents, making it perfect for a group retreat or family gathering. Our campsite accommodates up to 8 people (including children) and 2 vehicles, making it perfect for small groups and families. We welcome camper vans and car camping, but please note that our site does not have a turnaround, so it is not suitable for larger RVs, large towed trailers, or 5th wheels. The site offers ample flat space for dispersed camping and car camping. You are free to set up camp anywhere on the property, though vehicles will need to use the upper pad, which is leveled for your convenience. This area is conveniently located near the bathhouse and outdoor kitchen, ensuring easy access to amenities during your stay. You will have exclusive access to the entire property during your stay, ensuring a private and tranquil experience. Enjoy the serene ambiance and take advantage of our private river access, allowing you to unwind and immerse yourself in nature at your leisure. Please note that while you're here, you may experience minimal cell service, depending on your phone plan. However, should you need to connect with the outside world, a quick 5-minute drive up the road will provide you with service. We encourage you to take this opportunity to disconnect and fully embrace the tranquility of your surroundings. We strongly recommend you download Google Maps ahead of your arrival. To ensure a smooth check-in, our property manager will meet guests at the Bridgeport Covered Bridge parking lot, 7 minutes from our campsite and bring you to the property.  Be mindful of the local wildlife by practicing food lockup at night and staying vigilant for snakes and other animals. Like anywhere in the woods, mosquitoes may be present near the sites for an hour at sunset during the spring and some summers. You might encounter poison oak in the thicker woods, so please stay on the cleared paths. IMPORTANT NOTE ON CAMPFIRES: We adhere to local fire regulations and there is a fireban during Summer to protect against wildfires. We do allow campfires when they are allowed by local county regulations.

This place was awesome. It was like we had our own private slice of heaven next to the river. We took the canoe and kayaks out and explored the beaches nearby. Would stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Wildlands. The place was ideal for a large group and for a birthday celebration. We enjoyed the proximity to the river and all the amenities. We would go back.

Great spot for Yuba River swimming!
We had a wonderful time here! It’s extremely private and well located. It’s only a 5-10min drive up the gravel road to Yuba River State Park, which has a great family-friendly swimming hole near the covered bridge. It’s also only 25min from Hoyt Crossing, our personal favorite swimming spot on the Yuba (but it requires more hiking or boulder-scrambling to access). The campsite had enough room for our laughably large 16ft bell tent. There were two wonderful bathrooms with hot showers, a great picnic table, a gas grill, and a gas camp stove. It’s the best-outfitted Hipcamp that we have stayed at yet! We will definitely be back!

Potential
The hill to the river was pretty treacherous. No one actually fell, but it was close. The shaded area and “kitchen” were helpful, but in disrepair. The blue kayaks were super fun, the canoe w/broken ore peg. The facilities were awesome! All in all we had fun, but it was not worth what we paid. I see the potential, but it’s not quite there.

Great site!
Tent · With kids
We had a fantastic weekend at this beautiful spot with two families! It was blazing hot but the (somewhat icy!) river water cooled us down. Spent the whole weekend in boats and doing cold plunges in the water. Loved the setup at the site - bathrooms were great, running water, nice kitchen setup, and the freezer was SO great to have! A few notes: the walk down to the water is quite steep so perhaps not best for super young kids or elderly people, the tent area fits two tents max (or three very small ones), and while we didn’t see the usual camping friends like chipmunks and squirrels, lots of ants in the food areas. But overall really enjoyed our weekend here!

Beautiful, pristine river spot
6 m campervan · With pets
We had a wonderful time staying here! Just off the beaten path for Yuba river, but totally private. Easy enough to get our long body sprinter in there. An ideal spot to spend time with family and friends. High Point for the kids was watching an eagle and an osprey challenge each other mid air over a fish! We will definitely be back!
