Peaceful and caring
Loved the privacy of the space. We came here to celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary with the kids as my hubby passed away recently. The place was exactly what I needed, peaceful and the view from the pool was beautiful. The host Laurent and his daughter was superb! Laurent’s pastries and jam are the best. And my kids loved the animals especially Biskoff! I would definitely come back!

Poor Conditions & Overpriced
Came to this site to have a relaxing getaway, and instead had the complete opposite.
First, would like to mention that the booking did not clearly advertise the yurt would be in a shared space with the host’s house (about 25 feet apart from each other). We arrived hoping to BBQ and jacuzzi, but were told we couldn’t hot tub since the owner was going to sleep. This made us uncomfortable to stay out at night as we did not want to disturb the host.
Secondly, we left our stay after only a few hours due to the sleeping conditions in the Yurt provided. We do understand that we’re technically camping and that we’re technically outside, however, much like tent camping, we expect our sleeping arrangement to be fully enclosed, clean, and non-accessible to animals. To our surprise, there was mouse poop spread across the floors of the yurt. On top of that, there were living mice enclosed within the lining of the Yurt scurrying the walls for over an hour, which made it impossible for us to sleep comfortably. The issue here was that the Yurt was not fully enclosed, as there were multiple openings where the mice could enter our tent. In fact, there was mice hair and mice poo already in our tent. The tent was in poor conditions, and even had mouse traps in the corners of the tent. The cleanliness and condition was extremely poor, and the stay is extremely overpriced for what it is.
The host, Laurent, seemed to be a nice man and was accommodating to fully refund us. Still a bummer

Charming stay on a working farm!
When we arrived we were warmly greeted by Laurent. He showed us the tent, provided towels and sheets. We had our kids with us, so he also provided two futons, pillows, and sheets. We were shown how to access the bathroom and showers, which are shared with the main household, but Laurent and his family are very accommodating.
I'd like to try to describe Laurent. He's the owner/chef of that restaurant that you love, who warmly and genuinely greets your family each time you come in. You'll be treated to pastries and coffee each morning, where you'll get to have a nice conversation with a great human being. His dog "X" was a wonderful plus, super friendly and non-obtrusive like her owner. During on of the days we stayed, our children followed Laurent around feeding the guineafowl, chickens, donkey, horse, and cow.
The view from the campsite and the pool are amazing! You'll miss the dusk and dawn views when you go back home to your city.
Laurent's pool, is a water polo styled pool. Rectangular with shallow ends and a deep center. I can't get into the exact geometrics but the hot tub, warmed main pool, and infinity edge are lined up perfectly to oversee the valley.
Lastly the tent. It is as charming as the photos show, and actually very comfortable. You will sleep on an inflatable bed, nicely adorned, and the floor rugs makes it very cozy. If you bring any type of food into the campsite, be aware the ants will come for the picnic. We loved our stay and the host!

Overshot our freeway connection by 10 miles we had on the way back to Los Angeles from Finca Céleste. No fault of the GPS but our own reminiscing of our stay, forgetting the city traffic and clocking in. Yes, already wishing for another night and day waking up to the mountain view and water’s edge. The sound of roosters crowing had transported me back in time to the countryside with my grandmother only to be taken back to the future less than 48 hours later. No, I shouldn’t kidnap the chicken, but I should have brought a pair of hiking boots to overshoot my experience by 10-fold.

GLAMPING on a farm
Beautiful views and minutes from the wineries. My husband and I enjoyed cooling down in the pool and slept well with a morning wake up call from the farm roosters. Loved it! A nice GLAMPING get away without all the set up and neighboring campers.
