Nopalito is a Star Host
Star Hosts are highly rated, responsive, and committed to providing incredible experiences.
Welcome to Nopalito Farm! We’re so happy you’ve decided to spend some time on this beautiful property! In case you’re interested, here are a few interesting things about our farm. Nopalito Farm has been in operation since late 2014, but the property itself has been a working farm for over 50 years. Lemons and avocados were the primary crops from the 70’s through the 00’s, and are still prominent throughout our 15 acres. Our predecessors then diversified the growing operation by planting a wide range of fruit trees ranging from guavas and passion fruit to peaches and figs. For a decade, hops were grown on 2 acres and were sold to breweries throughout southern California. We’ve since replaced the hop yard with perennial flowers, but continue to cultivate a wide variety of delicious fruits.

Let the Spirit Move You

Absolute gem of a host, is Jacob. He's genuine and kind and really wants you to have a wonderful experience, whatever yours is for you. He's so accomodating; greets you on arrival, along with Gertie (the farm dog) who is equally an angel in a dogs body. Such a fun place to find so close to San Diego, and yet far enough away to relax, hear mother nature, and meander the grounds with your dog off leash. A well equiped kitchen with professional gas stove, plenty of refrigeration if you're a "gourmet" (-; plus a wood burning professional pizza oven. Perfect shower and toilet facilities. Sites far enough from one another for privacy, and serenity. Plus, the host is kind and generous and doing this for all the right reasons. The thing that struck me most is that the VIBE was "just right" ... not too high brow, but well equiped with necessities. We really had the FEELing and the experience of being camping on our own, but just comfortable enough that we could leave home for the weekend with very little other than the food we want to eat/cook/grill in a stressfree camping environment, less than an hour from San Diego. I will NEVER forget our weekend here ~ a weekend away with one of my adult children. Magic. The spirit is good on this land. We heard many coyotes this weekend. It's their land too. And we were grateful for them; and felt safe inside this fully fenced farm. We all need more of these expereiences to teach us how to be the best we can be. in kind heART, Jolin*

Easily accessible, clean tent, with plenty of amenities just a short walk away. The bedding kept us perfectly warm on a cold night. Really enjoyed our stay! Since it’s on top of a hill, the sounds from the nearby roads carry, but we didn’t mind, it was almost white noise.
