Learn more about this land: The Earthbag Tiny House is situated on 5 acres of undeveloped land and includes an earthbag/stone outhouse, earthbag hot tub for two and an earthbag pool. The property has a large shaded area for folks to be together and gather during the heat of the day. We also have a large charcoal BBQ grill and gas grill available for guests to use. This property is off-grid, but fully equipped with solar power, running water, and wifi. You will be walking distance to an expansive area of BLM land, multiple hiking trails, horseback riding, and jeep/ATV trails. We are just 1 mile from the famous Pacific Crest Trail and a 10-minute drive to access Borrego Desert hiking. The owner/host will be staying on the south-western most part of the property. a cozy getaway for 2 suburbanites!

great to be out of the suburbs! a cozy spot for the two of us nestled inside with a fireplace during a wind and rain storm! we are so happy to have had an easy getaway. in better weather there is so much great outdoor space to use. thank you!

Romantic glamp 2.0 10/10

2nd stay at the earth bag was magical yet again! If you’re reading this review and thinking of booking this spot, then let this be your sign BOOK IT! It’s a glamp, so the rustic charm is expected and desired, but the feeling of luxury out in a rural community is the biggest bang for your buck! It’s truly an experience, I won’t spoil the surprise anymore. Bring lots of wood because you’ll love the fire place- bring comfy shoes and take a sunset walk! and once again.. best bed ever! The whole set up and curation of this hipcamp has really made us fall in love with Ranchita. I can’t wait for our 3rd stay 🫶🏕️ both trips have been last minute “send it’s” because this camp is so well stocked and prepped for you, food and essentials only. perfect retreat from the city

Would come again!

Was very quiet and felt remote. Had everything you needed to cook. Was also very nice on a cold winter night to have the fireplace inside. Was such a vibe!
