Awesome spot but too pricey
Tent · Group trip
Pros: awesome spot if you want a private camping area for a large group. There are no neighbors, the solid structure is a great break from the wind and the stars are beautiful at night. Cons: it’s way overpriced. You could get an Airbnb with way more amenities for the same price. This is essentially an abandoned structure with no electricity and the outhouse does not appear to ever be serviced.

Nice secluded spot. The castle part is cool, and was nice for getting out of the wind. Overall not a great value, but decent spot, especially for a bigger group. I was shocked by the amount of broken glass on the campsite so be prepared for that if you have dogs.

Spooky cool place!

This place was really cool, we love a spooky night in the desert, and this was perfect! It was a cute small stone building that suited us for everything we needed. Nice fire pits and a lot of space to yourself. We did put the tent inside for extra protection. The space stay warm all night, even when the temperature started to drop. The Milky Way was bright and we were able to see shooting starts all night. Over all, we had a great time here, and really enjoyed the space :))

Such a wild and memorable experience! The structure is so nice to have to get out of the sun and the wind. An awesome spot for having a remote campfire away from the city. We were greeted by some friends at night by the fire; neighborhood dogs and coyotes. The dogs are nice and the coyotes don’t really care about our presence. We felt safe and had a lot of fun!
