We are a family owned/operated ranch, located along the Cosumnes River, one of the last un-dammed rivers in California. As one of the last rivers flowing from the west slope of the Sierra without a major dam, the Cosumnes is a vital example of a healthy watershed. Our goal is to offer a unique outdoor experience for anyone looking for a place to spend time in the great outdoors. Whether you're looking for a single campsite, or a place for a larger gathering, we're excited to have you visit! Take your pick of activities available on site: swimming , gold panning, fishing, camp fires, wildlife watching, floating, hiking, and mountain biking to name a few. There are 3 miles of river to explore. Private and noise free. Porta potties on site.

Private River Front Group Site

3rd times the charm

Site 14 - The Overlook

A happy place

This campsite is amazing! I am fairly new to camping and decided to try camping solo for the first time. The Overlook has great privacy, easy river access and such a beautiful view. As soon as I arrived, I relaxed - peak zen people!! Highly recommend. I saw some of the reviews about there being a lot of bees/wasps depending on time of year. This is true - there were several that came out during the day pretty much as soon as I took out food. At first, I was somewhat alarmed, but I actually got pretty used to them. After all.. it's nature, and we NEED bees. :) They weren't stinging at all, just excited about the food and manageable in my opinion. Chatting with the ranch manager, Tom, I learned some great tidbits about the ranch's history. It's a beautiful place with good energy. I'll definitely be back.

Site 6 - Rowan's Camp

We camped in our pop-up trailer at site six and hope to camp there again in the not too distant future. We had a great time swimming and relaxing.

Site 13 - Shady Cove

Absolutely beautiful land with stunning wildlife. The river offered incredible fishing and swimming on a hot day and Tom was super helpful in making sure we had everything we needed.

Private River Front Group Site

We loved the river access and swimming hole. Took turns floating down the gentle rapids. Really sweet spot. Cleanest portapotties I’ve ever seen!
