Come and experience the natural beauty and warm hospitality of this hidden gem near Millwood Lake!Cleared spots, but mostly hardwood forest. Campsites are situated on 4 leveled acres. They are not numbered. First come, first serve. If you don't like the spot, there is plenty of room out here to make a new one! Hiking and exploring are available on the rest of the property. The lake is minutes down the road, as are many creeks and rivers. The owner, Mike, lives in a yurt full-time on the property. He can provide food and drink for an additional fee. You MUST SEND A LIST OF WHAT YOU WANT PRIOR TO YOUR ARIVAL. He is an AMAZING chef. Parking is on the main road or on top of the hill weather permitting. Mike can meet you at the bottom of the hill in his 4x4 to bring you and your gear back up. If it's raining hard, the road can get a bit muddy!

This was a perfect spot for us to get away from the city and enjoy the eclipse! Plenty of nature to enjoy! Quiet and amazingly dark at night. Mike was such a gracious host and helped make the stay comfortable and enjoyable. He's quite responsive and supportive. We had a great time staying here.

We had a great time at Michaels for the eclipse! His place was easy to find and convenient to nearby stores and parks. His land was gorgeous! And no mosquitoes which I’ve never experienced before lol! We heard coyotes yipping in the valley at night and felt very safe and comfy on our hilltop site. He’s constantly working and developing these sites and land so it was neat to see it all from the start. I have no doubt he will continue to improve it over time and it will get better and better.
