When working or schooling while traveling through Arkansas, wifi may be a necessity. The Natural State has earned its nickname thanks to the rolling green hills of the Ozark, Ouachita, and Petit Jean Mountains, as well as the effervescent waters of the Buffalo National River—and although these features make Arkansas an excellent choice for hiking and paddling, the landscape can make it more difficult to find wifi and cell signals. When looking for Arkansas campgrounds with wifi, your best bet is to look for large, private RV parks or individual campsites in areas with few hills or near larger cities such as Little Rock, Jonesboro, Fort Smith, Conway, or Fayetteville. Some Arkansas state parks offer wifi, though the signal may not reach the far corners of the campgrounds. National park campgrounds in Hot Springs National Park or along the Buffalo do not offer wifi, nor do the campgrounds in spots such as the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest or the Ouachita National Forest.
