Do yourself a huge favor and skip this one if you are towing a travel trailer. It’s been a week and I am still salty about this experience. First of all, this place is PRIMITIVE. The roads and driveways are completely natural. That includes 16 miles of primitive, hilly, bumpy dirt road before you reach the drive. The driveway does NOT look like a driveway and none of the pictures will help direct you. If you pass the driveway because there is not a visible address, there is no place to turn around and the road gets narrower and inclines. DO NOT TRY TO FIND THIS AT NIGHT. I passed the drive (no address and it was pitch black out) and then realized that I had nowhere to go except to back out slowly without hitting a berm and avoiding the soft sand on both sides before a small ditch. It took me 2 hours and I got stuck in the soft sand a couple times but managed to rock free. I had no idea that I was even in the right spot until I saw a partial, old address on a rock. I saw a house on top of a hill and headed there. Once you are on top of the hill you will see the half shelter in the picture. The driveway is primitive with hills and soft sand. It took me 12 miles to get a signal. I’m all adventure/view, but it’s uncool when you just want a spot to plug in for the night and the whole camp spot was totally misrepresented. My camper was a mess inside. A little heads up about the rough terrain would have been helpful. Accurate pics and a clear address would be great. Best views tho.
