Dog-friendly camping in Arizona guide

Overview

Want to take your dog, cat, or other pet to the Grand Canyon State? Whether they hit the trails and historic sites with you or stay back at the campsite, you will find a number of welcoming RV and tent camping sites, cabins, and glamping options. Pet-friendly camping can be found across Arizona. Find a comfortable crash pad for your pet near the larger cities of Phoenix, Tucson, and Mesa, as well as popular camping destinations like Sedona, Flagstaff, and Williams. Pet-friendly cabins and campsites can also be found near Grand Canyon National Park, Antelope Canyon, and popular Arizona state parks. Summers can get quite hot and dry in desert regions, while winters can be cold and snowy at higher elevation, so special care needs to be taken for pets, especially if you'll be dry camping. Many private campsite owners request a heads up about your pet companions, especially if they have pets of their own.
