Camp Overland is 11 acres of mesquite covered hills within the town of Patagonia and bordered by Nature Conservancy land to the west. The campsites are all very private and have incredible views, yet are within short walking distance from the restaurants, shops and all of the other activities that Patagonia has to offer. Propane stoves are allowed at all sites and there is a communal fire area with a wood burning Solo stove. Camp Overland practices a Leave no Trace ethic, our motto is: Be kind, have fun, leave no trace.

Great spot!
Great camping spot, plenty of space for two people and a 4-person tent. Clear communication. Will definitely be back!

5/5 would stay again
Camp Overland was a great easy stop after a long day of offroad adventures. Conveniently located close to many offroading paths in patagonia, this is a nice place to call home for the night. There is a community fire pit and a very clean toilet, with a wash station for your hands. Aldo appreciate the hospitality and communication. Thanks again will likely stay again!

The Trailer Spot
Level easy to reach spot with a clean bathroom. Would have preferred other spot for the view but this did the trick and the proximity to town was awesome.

Overland Camp in Patagonia
Easy access to town of Patagonia and especially the Patton Hummingbird house. The outhouse is very clean and well stocked. Road in is very bumpy -our van is not a 4 wheel drive. Host was easy to get in touch with & responded quickly.

The Top Spot
Super convenient for birders
I had mixed feelings about Top Spot. Pluses: very private - no campers 15 feet away like some state/Nat campgrounds Extremely close to best birding areas. Very clean port-a-potty. Quiet. Johnnie was very helpful during arrival. Minuses: it isn’t the most scenic campground. Ok. But you don’t go here for the view. I found it a little hard to find via Google, but Johnnie guided me in, so really wasn’t hard. If I’m birding, I would come again.
Location
Patagonia, Santa Cruz, Arizona, United StatesTraditional, ancestral territory of O’odham Jeweḍ, Sobaipuri, Ópata (Tegüima-Eudebe-Hoba), Tohono O’odham, and Hohokam First Nations according to To respect the Host's privacy, the precise address of this land will be provided after booking
