Beautiful property with a lovely little pond and fire pit next to it. A trillion stars in the sky at night. I even saw a deer as I entered the property. Very kind owner and he is very responsive to messages. Highly recommended.

I had an absolutely magical stay at Kula Bata Tiny Kabin InfraRed Sauna! The cabin is cozy and beautiful, and the sauna is such a nice feature, especially after a hike. The grounds around the cabin are beautiful, healthy, and peaceful, and there is deep meaning to all of the special touches in the woods around the place. I felt such a sense of flow in this place. It was healing, nourishing, and enlivening. I will definitely be back!

1 night at Turtle Bend Farm

It was perfect site for my spontaneous camping trip. The host was very nice, and quick response if I needed anything. Unfortunately there is no flushed toilet, but for 20 dollar camping, I can’t complain. There were also animals on the campground.i enjoyed petting cats and dogs. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay in tent at night because it was so dark at night, but my stay was amazing and refreshing😀

2 nights at The Moose Caboose Country Farm

Rob has a beautiful, large grassy, with trees piece of property. His house is up on a hill and affords lots of privacy for two -four camper groups. I felt very safe and comfortable there. The sky was unbelievable from his wide open property. Easy to get to. Situated in beautiful area of Massachusetts. Unlimited nature hiking, birding, lakes, marshlands everywhere - all stunning. Rob is very nice and responsive to text messages . Gave good ideas of what to do. Especially the Petersham Country Store! He also checked in with me next day and informed me when other campers were coming. I would definitely recommend and return to his Hipcamp 👍👍🌞🚙. I was minivan camping🌞

Weekend Trip to Woodland's Edge Glamping & Hot Tubs

Andrea was a great host to us during our short weekend stay. The space is homey and quiet despite being in a residential neighborhood. We felt safe and alone. I booked this site because of the bathtubs and began to feel very hesitant about it since we had a lot of wind, some rain, and it was exactly warm out. Once the time came to enjoy our soak though, it was soooooo worth it. We cut our stay a little bit short due to a steady increase of critters trying to get out of the rain but none the less had a wonderful time. We spent our days skipping around the local towns and buying everything in sight both edible and not. We’re leaving with full cars and bellies.

We had a great stay here. We arrived on the later side, just after dark, but the spot was easy to get into and find thanks to the directions Patricia sent. Best part of all, there was a fire just waiting to be lit in the fireplace! My son and I set up our chairs, grabbed our snacks and cozied up, without having to build a fire in the dark or hunt around for firewood. Night was quiet and peaceful and I totally recommend staying here!

This tiny cabin is a wonderful spot if you need some quiet time to reflect, meditate (zafus were provided!), read, or write. It's well maintained and clean with great views of the woods, ample light, and privacy (even with no leaves on the trees). Using the wood stove was simple and the bed was super comfy! The cabin is also very close to DAR State Forest and other trails if you want to get some hiking in. Highly recommended!

Amazing land Robert was super nice, came in late, last minute and he was super accommodating. It's a large enough plot of land to really stretch out and get some privacy. The view of the moon and stars was great for the lunar eclipse had an incredible time and would come back again

Amazing host, gave us spot 2 which had a little more privacy. Enjoyed a nice fire patty came out and checked if we needed anything and was super incredible. House is separate from area by privacy fence. Highly recommend would stay again

One of the things we regret was only staying one night! I want to thank Mary and everyone else here that did such a great job at making our stay SO easy! The night before she sent me helpful tips, trails to hike, and food recommendations. My partner and I had no plans so when Mary shared her recommendations we ended up doing most of what she suggested. We hiked mount Tully, had dinner at boiler bar and grille and we visited local farm stands. The cabin had all the essentials to cook and clean with. We especially loved the zen room with the sauna. We also appreciated the personalized welcome note, the complimentary honey and some treats for our dog. The hosts really went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. We loved the cosy, quaint cabin so much and we REALLY want to come back. It was nice to unplug and get away from the hustle and noise of Boston. This cabin was a breath of fresh air. Can’t wait to come back! We told everyone about it!

We stayed for 2 nights during not so favorable weather but were able to enjoy the beautiful nature that surrounded us while staying cozy warm in the charming Library. In addition to the Library you have so much outdoor space to enjoy, including the dining area with the pizza oven as well as the cool Tipi set up! The host Mary is an absolute love. She was communicative from beginning to end and was sure to provide us with all the information we could possibly need. We can’t wait to come back during warmer months so we can enjoy the koi pond and spend more time outside exploring the trails surrounding the beautiful property.

I'm about 20 minutes from Mount Wachusett and 5 minutes from the Quabbin. Lots of hiking all around, including from my farm (a nice 3 mile walk through a wildlife preserve). Worcester is about a 30 minute drive. Lot's of lakes all around with good fishing. The town of Barre has some excellent restaurants, a grocery store, hardware store, etc. We close for the winter season from November 1 through the end of March.

They are friendly, well trained and mostly work along side me. But they do have free range of the farm and if anyone in your party has a fear or dislike of dogs this is probably not the best choice for you. We have PYO fresh fruit, vegetables, cut flowers, eggs, and all of our nursery stock for sale in season. There is a newly built garden shop and art gallery with a 12 Ft. Timothy Ruggles bought this land from the Native Americans for his family to live on, and to work the land. His son, Brigadeer General Timothy Ruggles became unpopular after he introduced the Stamp Act, and was banished to Nova Scotia. His daughter Bathsheba became the last woman executed in the United States for the murder of her husband Joshua Spooner. (There’s a book about it called Murdered by his wife, by Deborah Navas.) Want to know local eateries? For breakfasts and lunch there is The Whistle Stop diner, it was a former Boston & Albany Railroad station. Speaking of railroads, did you know that The Mass Central Rail Trail runs through Gilbertville! Rose 32, is a well known bakery that serves tea, coffee and sandwiches. There’s Hardwick house of Pizza- for tasty pizza and subs, which also serves beer. Feeling fancy? Try Hardwick Crossing Country Club (features a 9 hole golf course), it has a restaurant with a full-service bar, gorgeous scenery! Hardwick is the home of the oldest agricultural fair in the US, held every year in August, and, every Sunday there’s a small farmers market on the common. Hardwick also has a winery- Hardwick Vineyard and Winery, they have all kinds of events, (find them on facebook) and, check out Lost Towns brewery- the name is a throwback to the 4 towns that were submerged to create the Quabbin Reservoir! Medicine River Pow Wow is in August here in Gilbertville, on River Run Rd. The East Quabbin Land Trust has birdwatching and fabulous views, and the Mass Central Rail Trail entrance is located here. Bike it or hike it! Quabbin Reservoir is close by for boating and fishing. There are free concerts in Grenville Park in Ware, (check for dates). Ware also has Janine’s Frostee ice cream and fast foods- and live music on weekend nights! Also check out these on line: Ragged Hill orchard and Rock House Reservation in West Brookfield, and Carter and Stevens farm in Barre. The Leicester, and Mendon movie drive-in’s. Old Sturbridge village is 30 minutes away. Lake Lashaway has a swimming area in East Brookfield, right off of Rte 9. It’s about 20 minutes from here. The Martha’s Vineyard Family Campground began as a vacant wooded lot in 1968. The land was purchased by Charles and Jeanne Feeney from a retired doctor living in Vineyard Haven. Charles “Chuck” Feeney was an aerospace engineer at the time and was always taking his kids camping. His dream was to have a place for the family to camp and call their own. So together with his wife and five children he converted a bus into a camper and carved out a site amongst the wild blueberry bushes and scrub oak trees. Our family fell in love with the island. We discovered all the island has to offer and found it irresistible. We were the tourists of yesteryear and what attracted our family back then still exists today: beautiful beaches, fabulous fishing, quaint villages, and amazing sunsets. From the rolling hills of Aquinnah to the dunes of Katama, there is no place on earth like it. Martha’s Vineyard When Chuck found out his job was relocating him to California, he made the bold move to make his family campsite and land available to you. With a lot of hard work and great family pride, the construction of Martha’s Vineyard Family Campground began. During the first few summers of construction, we lived in the converted bus and tents. Slowly the sites and the roads were carved out. Summer vacations meant clearing land and pouring cement. The campground was officially opened in the spring of 1972 and has been a family-run operation ever since. Today the campground is managed by a third generation of The Feeney Family. The goal has always been to provide a quality camping experience for families who wish to visit this wonderful island. Hickory Ridge

Our property is 85 very private acres with an open field surrounded by forest and open wooded area with many trails. The forest is very diverse including some old growth maples and birches, as well as hemlock and pine trees. The campsites are at the edge of the field set back into the woods. I have recently added sand and gravel to improve drainage since the heavy rain we have had last year. We have a portable composting toilet outhouse and a hot outdoor shower. Feel free to explore all of the trails on foot or mountain bike. You may see some turkeys or deer out there. There is a small pond with lots of frogs and salamanders near the camping area, and a few seasonal streams on the property. You can hike a one mile loop on our newest trail. It is medium difficulty because of the hillside it is built on so hiking boots are recommended unless you are on a mountain bike. Rock walls built in the mid 1800s circle the property almost entirely so the borders are easy to see. The Deerfield river is a few miles away where you can fish for trout or go for a swim or kayak. The Connecticut river and the green river are about 15 minutes away as well. We have tubes, a canoe, and a kayak that are available to rent for some floating! Historic Deerfield village and Yankee Candle store and factory are about 10 minutes away. We are about 20 minutes from Northampton and Amherst.

If you're a larger group booking Salamander Hollow main camp with its Sleeping Library, Tipi & Slovenian Beehive House, you might consider renting this additional Tiny Cabin want to entertain all in glamping style, utilizing its amenities; as well, providing another bathroom/shower and guest bedroom for those who prefer being indoors while in the great outdoors. Beaches along Cape Cod come in all sizes and styles, from the romantic to the family-friendly. Family camping thrives in the area. Drive your RV to Scusset Beach State Reservation on the southwest edge of Cape Cod Bay. If glamping is more your speed, head to Falmouth, Martha's Vineyard, or Nantucket for a getaway along the Atlantic Ocean.

Plymouth

Stop in Wompatuck State Park en route to the Pilgrim Memorial State Park. The latter is a must-stop for United States history enthusiasts, while campsites in Myles Standish State Forest offer everything. Tent and RV campgrounds come with access to hiking trails, as well as opportunities to ride horses, bike, and sail. In the snowy months, you can even snowmobile or cross-country ski.

Salisbury Beach State Reservation

Inland Massachusetts
