We had a great stay here. We arrived on the later side, just after dark, but the spot was easy to get into and find thanks to the directions Patricia sent. Best part of all, there was a fire just waiting to be lit in the fireplace! My son and I set up our chairs, grabbed our snacks and cozied up, without having to build a fire in the dark or hunt around for firewood. Night was quiet and peaceful and I totally recommend staying here!
Amazing host, gave us spot 2 which had a little more privacy. Enjoyed a nice fire patty came out and checked if we needed anything and was super incredible. House is separate from area by privacy fence. Highly recommend would stay again
Absolutely loved the ease and kindness of listing/host. Fire pit had ample wood(which was a HUGE BONUS) as I was running last minute and that saved me setting up uin the dark. She also advised of possible rain w even possible of losing rental. Site was Private had everything you could want and if wasn't winter we would stayed longer and explored some trails etc. . Definitely 10/10
Site 1 at Birch & Pine is a spacious and easily accessible campsite, perfect for any size RV. The site is shady and open, with a large fire pit and plenty of room to settle in and enjoy a peaceful stay. While it’s closer to the main house, it provides easy access to nearby attractions, including scenic beaches and the historic charm of the Narragansett Bay area. Our host was welcoming and helpful, adding to the experience. With so much to see and do close by, it’s an ideal spot for a quick stopover or as a base for exploring the local sights.
What a beautiful location. The area was very secluded and private. The site was well maintained and the views were gorgeous. Patricia communicated well and let me know that she was going to be out, but that everything was ready. She had wood ready for a campfire and left great instructions. She was very responsive to questions and made our stay a wonderful experience. If we are in the area again we will definitely check with her.
I absolutely love this site, I was actually the only camper and had it all to myself! I was met on arrival, it was very easy to get my 14' trailer in, and they area was better than the pictures represent. Accurate but better in person. Very level, and though it did not rain, I appreciated the stone area because should it rain you aren't tracking mud in! My hostesses were incredibly friendly, I felt safe on the property, I even forgot to lock my trailer and had zero anxiety about it. The area felt secluded despite being surrounded by very urban areas, there was no ambient noise from anything but Mama Nature! Horseneck Beach was 35 mins away, there were many places to kayak that I checked out for next time. Fall Festivals, State Parks to explore, and a very clean and comfortable camp to relax at night. I highly recommend but also want to be selfish and keep it to myself :)
