8 campsites and 2 original Mongolian Gers. The season for the camp sites is from June 1st to end of Sept and the Gers are all 12 months. weather permitting. Pets allowed, toilets on site, campfires permitted when burn ban is not in place. Now up until this year I have provided Free Firewood. I have quit doing that for a variety of reasons, the least being the cost and the work for me. I am encouraging everyone to purchase a Propane Fire Pit if you don't have one by now. I am not to the point yet of saying no big dogs. Talk to me if you think your "big dog" might not fit in. I don't like running thru other campers sites, so just be respectful. Take them for walks along the lake, not having them run thru everyone else's camp sites. No Yappers, no barking dogs, no yapper's, no pain in the butts. Why would you drive by 46 grocery stores and forget to bring ice? No loud music. I have changed quiet time to 9:00 PM. You need to listen to the chaos/stressful music I suggest you start a band or become a DJ. What I want folks to get out of being here, whether they are camping or staying in the Gers is just to “take a break”. Relax, appreciate, assess and just listen. I hope what you hear is the sound of life and of course all the Angels that make up this special piece of Heaven. Then there is the silence. The best part of “Heaven”.

Pets are allowed, but must be kept on a leash or confined in a pen. The neighbors at the adjacent fenced property to the east have a couple of very friendly but curious dogs that like to be introduced to any newly arriving animals! When you request a reservation, please tell me what kind of RV you'll be bringing, and confirm whether it is fully self-contained (with toilet and holding tanks). Summers and holiday weekends require a 4-night minimum stay. All other times require a 3-night minimum stay. PLEASE NOTE: Use the property's elevated deck (maximum weight capacity: 350 lbs.) and gravel path to the river's edge at your own risk and with the utmost caution! Owner accepts no responsibility for injuries sustained on the property. Area attractions include the Deschutes River, Mt. Bachelor, Paulina Plunge, Benham Falls, Fall River Trail, Lava Butte, Sunriver Nature Center and Observatory, Spring River, Sparks Lake, Elk Lake, Smith Rock, and the Sisters Rodeo, to name a few. There is a boat launch about 1/4 mile away on Snow Goose Drive, and scenic bike trails in Caldera Springs (about 3.5 miles away), as well as in Sunriver (about 5 miles away). Local restaurants include Village Bar and Grill, Josie K's Deli and Kitchen, Marcello's, Cafe Sintra, and Blondie's Pizza. There is a small general store (open during the summer) at the Thousand Trails campground on Century Drive, just a short drive away.

Our house and RV site are 10 minutes from all things Bend. We are located south of town on .5 acres. The RV site is on the side of our front yard, sheltered by Ponderosa, Juniper and Aspen trees. Although we have neighbors, the location is across from a number of uninhabited acres of high desert. Within a 10 minute drive, you'll have access to mountain biking trails, hiking trails, the Deschutes river, Hayden Homes Amphitheater, Downtown Bend, the Old Mill District, and a ridiculous number of breweries and excellent restaurants. The RV site itself is a back-in grassy spot, shaded by trees, with both water and electrical hook-ups. This is the perfect spot for those seeking a base camp to explore all that Central Oregon has to offer. For reference, the RV in the photos is 27 feet from hitch to bumper, and there is room to spare for longer RVs.***There is some road noise. As Bend grows, so does, unfortunately, the traffic on the road behind our property.
