This is an off-grid homestead in progress. We are working towards being fully self sustaining. At one time this was a hunting ground for local Native Americans.
Very quiet and peaceful place with a great little setup. The outhouse was one of the nicest and cleanest I have ever seen! I did not have a fire but they left me firewood and there was a nice spot to sit and have a fire. The only complaint I had was there was a neighbor's dog who barked for most of the night and kept me awake for a good while. Otherwise, great place to camp!
Great camping spot close to the Grand Canyon! The hosts were friendly and offered anything we needed. Individual sites aren’t designated and the camping area is close to the hosts home but there’s a pallet wall in between the camp area and hosts space.
Lovely people, lovely site! Great location—a half-hour drive from Grand Canyon. Kim has 2 sweet dogs and she even gave us a free bundle of firewood! I recommend and would stay again :)
It was nice and quiet. The host has a big windscreen put up which helped a lot! She was very friendly and so were her dogs! I would definitely stay there again!
