5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse!
A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured.
There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities.
Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area.
Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group.
We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses.
The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance.
Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking.
We look forward to welcoming you to Everything Horses ltd where you can enjoy one of the last pockets of peace left in the Swan Valley area.
We are everythinghorsesltd on Facebook with current uploads to see more of the property and animals here.
There is a red cone at the driveway to pull in to where you will be greeted, please leave any gates as you find them.
We wish you happy travels campers
Camping at Everything Horses offers a unique experience with horses roaming freely around the campsite, creating a peaceful and charming atmosphere. Dale, the host, is often praised for his friendliness and willingness to share knowledge, though there have been concerns about limited amenities such as showers and toilets. Some campers mentioned disturbances from planes and horseflies, as well as issues with communication and cleanliness. Despite these drawbacks, the location's proximity to the Swan Valley and the tranquil setting among the horses make it a memorable place for many.
We had such a relaxing time at Everything Horses.
We enjoyed having horses roam free among campers.
There are a lot of restaurants and pubs nearby, which made our stay even better.
The beach ride was amazing! Dale is the best coach, very kind and supportive. He taught my daughter to ride bare back and to trot on the sand.
We are already planning to go back ;-)
Having the horses is nice and fun to wake up to when they come and say hello. However we didn’t have access to any amenities as we weren’t greeted by anyone or shown where anything was. Lots of horseflies around. Wouldn’t mind any of this if the price was cheaper. But we paid to come here assuming we could have a shower and access to some water.
Nice big open paddock with lots of options for your preferred spot to camp, the horses are extremely tame and friendly, they came to visit each morning at breakfast. There were minimal disturbances other than the planes flying over but that didnt bother us. Looking forward to visiting again, the kids absolutely loved it!
Such a unique stay. Sat watching the setting sun, surrounded by nature, with my cuppa and horses coming to say hi. Woke to bird song and more horse visitors. Dale is so generous with his time and knowledge.
Can't wait to be back.
The site is literally in a horse paddock. I would have thought for price you paid that at least there would be an area that would be raked so, there was no horse poo where you set up camp or a rake provided. It would have taken the owner about 5 minutes to do it. I had to use a tree branch to get rid of the horse poo. The owner didn't come to meet us at all on our stay (maybe he just liked to give you your space) but it would have been nice to been given a rundown of place. It says there is a toilet and shower available on the description.
The horses are amazing and the place has such potential. Our kids loved camping with the horses in the same area. The location is great being in the Swan Valley. Just a few tweaks to the place and it could be such lovely place to stay.
