Welcome to Raptor Retreat, on the doorstep of Whiteman Park. It’s the perfect location if you love birds, in particular Raptors. The campsite is located at the back of the 5 acres property on solid ground. The area surrounding the campsite is farm land but beyond the fence is 4000 hectares of native bushland. Plenty of areas for bushwalking or photography. The property is home to the WA Birds of Prey Rehabilitation and educational centre. The Swan Valley is only a short drive when you can experience local wines and produce. Campers must be either self sufficient with their own camping toilet and take all waste with them on departure when located at the back of the property. Alternatively, at the front of the property, toilets and bins are available. Campfires are only permitted at certain times of the year, please check with your host before lighting a fire. We couldn't fault our stay at the Raptor Retreat. Yvonne was so helpful and full of info on things to do in the area and couldn't help us more with showing us where to park up (pretty much wherever we wanted!) The kids loved the dogs and all the birds. And the price was perfect! What more could you want or need 😁

Affordable, convenient and safe. Great location close to everything in the Swan Valley. Perfect if you are fully self contained. It was very private and we would stay again!

Nice place near Whiteman park - about 300m from Pia's place. Pretty quiet, very friendly dogs and sheep as well as the raptors. A very unique place.

Yvonne eas very accommodating. The area we put up our tent was awesome. Shade for the afternoon too. Super close to Whiteman park and a few pubs. Great toilet facility too. We enjoyed walking around and seeing the Eagles. Don't leave a football out, the dog liked it a bit too much lol. Thanks for having us

Mixed feelings

Friendly greeting from Yvonne, the owner. The site is presently a car park with gate locked at night. There is a flush toilet available for use. The site is very convenient for Whiteman Park. We used it as our last stop before returning the motorhome to the depot and for that purpose we found it convenient.
