Millwood is located 6kms from COOMA n.s.w. in the Snowy Mountains Region and is within easy reach to a number of great locations. We are just 90 minutes from Canberra, just over an hour from Perisher and the snowfields and 1.5 hours from all the beautiful beaches that the South Coast has to offer. A short drive of under five minutes takes you to the Murrumbidgee River on a sealed council road. There is a flat grassed picnic area and gas run b-bques under cover. Now has 3 adjacent camp sites available. You will have plenty of space and privacy. We also offer an RV site. You can relax around your firepit and enjoy watching the beautiful wildlife that come to visit the property including Kangaroos, Wombats and a variety of native birds. The host runs a Day Spa from her home so you may like to treat yourself to some self care. Please check with host as to availability of Spa Treatments. Why not check out our outdoor clawfoot bath during your stay. It's an amazing experience under the stars! Tank water is available but please use sparingly. The surrounding area is hugely popular for cyclists and bushwalkers with many great tracks available to explore. The Murrumbidgee River is 2 klms away, where you can enjoy a picnic along it's banks and take a dip if it's warm enough. We accept campers who are fully self contained with their own toilet. Campers must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. No pets please as we have animals here.

Nice Rural Setting
Nice, flat camping sites. There are three reasonably close together but I was only booking so had the place to myself. Overlooked nice native fish and some pine trees, very peaceful spot. It is on a property with a few homes nearby, including the host's. Diane was great, easy set up instructions and she popped down to see me when she got home to show me around etc. It was a nice basic hipcamp, inexpensive and good value for what it offered 🙂

Quiet and Secluded
16 ft Class B ·
Millwood Cottage is not far from Cooma, secluded and quiet, but a few things can be improved. The website shows a pond or a creek, but there was none to be seen. The campsite is up on a hill and the water gives a false impression. There are three RV sites close to each other, but none ate quite level. There is only one fire pit for the three sites, which may be difficult if those camping are from different groups.

Snowy's Charm
Great stopover near Cooma. Diane is a fabulous host - very helpful and welcoming! The Bush Hut was very comfortable with a heap of Snowy's rustic charm. Great stay!

Relaxing, Rustic and Romantic
The hut is warm and cosy with the fire going, the spot is beautiful and Diane the host is really lovely and accommodating. My partner and I had a great two nights here and felt relaxed and well looked after. The hut itself feels private despite proximity to the main house. The view out of the big window by the bed and sunrise in the morning make it worth a trip! If you do stay, make sure to visit Miss Heidi's Teahouse nearby!
