‘Shellgrove Cottage’ located 25mins from Cooma and 10 mins from Numeralla. It is a small off grid glamping shed/ house on the main property of ‘Shellgrove’ a working farm. Shellgrove Cottage is located in a private 12 acre paddock along the Numeralla River. The cottage is completely off grid with a plumbed toilet and gas shower and a generator to power appliances when needed. It’s a quiet relaxed place to unwind and listen to nature.Settle yourself into Shellgrove Cottage and enjoy the sound of nature. Read a book, take a walk along the Numeralla River or up in the bushland, cook up a feast on the BBQ or just relax around the fire pit. Off Grid is the complete way to totally unwind. (Fire pit - subject to fire ban season)

Best stay! Book today. You’ll love

Brooke from Hipcamp staff here, we LOVED our stay. Emily had thought of everything. Our only regret is we weren’t staying longer. The fire was so warm and cosy - Emily lit it for us as we arrived late. We loved the basic camp-style kitchen (glamp kitchen). The bed and linens were so comfy. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Hot water great. Information and communication first-class. As Hipcamp staff I’m so proud to stay here and leave this review. Thank you, Emily! We will be back. Brooke & Maddie. xoxox

A little slice of heaven

I loved staying at Shellgrove Cottage and will be back. Gazing at the stars while sitting beside the firepit is magical and the accommodation is gorgeous, comfortable and lovely and warm on a very cold night. The host Emily is an excellent communicator and she provided spot on directions. Highly recommended.

Wonderful, idyllic cottage

Shellgrove is a great little cottage, well-equipped and a perfect getaway for two. The host, Emily, was very kind and friendly, she escorted us and made sure we had everything we needed. The place feels so private with lots of vast open space around it, and beautiful views over the countryside. We really loved the outdoor fire pit in the evening and were able to enjoy a sky full of stars! There is a wood fireplace indoors which keeps the place so warm and cozy. Ideal for an autumn/winter trip. Very much recommend. We can’t wait to go back!
