We are located 4 miles from Routt National Forest. You'll arrive at the ranch headquarters and we will either take you to the sheep wagon or give you directions to it. The sheep wagon is nestled in an Aspen grove (on 56 acres) with a creek just 12 feet away. From there, you are 1/4 mile away from the national forest and the wilderness. There are thousands of acres to explore, either by hiking , biking or horseback riding. You are also just minutes away from great trout fishing lakes and streams. While here ask about ranch tours and visiting with our sheep, horses, cows and chickens! There will be cattle or sheep on the property with the sheep wagon. Please note that cell phone service is very limited in the area. You will be nestled among an Aspen Grove, staying in an authentic 1900 sheep wagon! There will be a fire pit for camp fires, folding chairs and a port-a-potty. Completely private with absolutely no neighbors. Star gazing is incredible here! Gorgeous mountain views in any direction. Wildlife viewing at its best, deer, moose, elk, pronghorn and bear are frequently seen. Enjoy an evening campfire, we will provide the firewood. Property borders the national forest. You are located close to thousands of acres of national forest and wilderness. Celebrating a special occasion (Birthdays, Anniversaries, Honeymoon ... Let me know and we can decorate accordingly. The sheep wagon is fully stocked with all the linens, towels and extra blankets. Cooking utensils and coffee pot are provided. Wood stove with propane option in wagon for cooking.

This place was awesome! The most welcoming hosts and such a cool spot to be in. Tons of wildlife and cows that stop by and say hello! I Would totally recommend staying here and would love to come back!

Glamping at its finest!
Marcy was an amazing host! She went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be with some many thoughtful personal touches! Marcy made sure to include things in the sheep-wagon to make our stay even more stress free like toilet paper, bugs spray and even a relaxing candle! We enjoyed the property and loved the opportunity to explore the very-nearby national forest land. We were lucky during our stay to get the chance to see so much wildlife including: pronghorn, foxes, bats, mule deer and even a black bear! Marcy even made sure to check-in after our stay. I hope my travels end up taking me back to the sheep-wagon again!
