The Santee State Park has many water activities, picnic areas, and hiking trails. There are several golf courses nearby, and a local restaurant/bar within walking distance which often offers trivia, karaoke, pool tables, and live music. We bought this Airstream in 2022 as an old shell. It was junky and a mess, and not much in it other than old scraps and junk. We renovated it in 2022 and 2023, and turned it into a cozy, midcentury modern style Glamper. We tried to plan for every comfort you could want or need, from wifi and a smart TV, to a cute bathroom, Keurig and an Air Fryer. We hope you love it as much as we do. Please note, it is tight quarters, especially for more than two people and large framed people. For this reason, we only allow two guests. We live on a busy street, but the backyard is peaceful and serene. The airstream is parked next to our creek, where waterfowl abound. Only one vehicle allowed.

Edenhope Farms is nestled on 6 acres and is a sanctuary for rescued and unique animals. We have a Zebu bull, which are the oldest recorded bovine in history, dating back to the Bible. We have goats and peacocks, chickens, a potbellied pig, rescued squirrels, and rescued ducks. Soon to come.... Sheep!!! My property used to be the disposal site for the CocaCola bottling Company. Go on a scavenger hunt and find old bottles. Relax around the fire pit and listen to owls, wild geese, bull frogs and the Quack Pack. Lounge on the spacious deck overlooking all the farm animals or take a dip in the swimming pool. At night grill on the BBQ or have an oyster roast. We do have an indoor toilet for you to use and an outdoor shower. Go for a walk through the woods, do yoga, head to Hunting Island beach which is 10 miles or drive 3 miles to historic downtown Beaufort. We are also close to Parris Island and many other historical sites. While here you can enjoy historical tours of Beaufort County’s earliest years of the Santa Helena colony in the mid 1600’s, the revolutionary war period, the pre-civil war and plantation time period and the antebellum, reconstruction history up to the Civil Rights visits of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Historic Penn Center. The Lowcountry is great for water sports, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, sailing, hiking and canoeing. Each season offers an opportunity to participate in fishing, crabbing, shrimping or digging for oysters in local waters. Our area is a favorite of cyclist groups, the long, flat, rural, scenic, roads offer pleasant riding experiences for cyclist of all ability levels. There are bike lanes on many of the major roads. Other recreational activities in our area are geocaching, horseback riding, tennis, golf, hiking, beach volleyball, beachcombing, and birdwatching. There are a few special events throughout the year, Gullah Festival-May, Water Festival-July, Shrimp Festival-October, Beaufort Food Truck Festival-October, Soft Shell Crab Festival-April, Pat Conroy Festival-November, Heritage Days Festival-November, Night on the Town-December. The Sanctuary at Edisto river is amazing! I originally booked just a few days during Christmas, but I loved it so much that I extended my stay through New Years. Dustin was very welcoming and engaging, while also giving us space to enjoy the property. My favorite parts were: - The beautiful outdoor shower with a rain shower head. - Access to FREE laundry in an inviting and well designed bath house. - The Gazebo was fabulous! Loved relaxing on the sectional couch while watching TV and enjoying the beautiful view of the river and large patio. I would 100% go back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique glamping experience.

Liz's property is very clean and well maintained. The beautiful landscape consists of a lean-to with a rocking chair and a very nice fire pit. It was surround by trees and bamboo. The area was not as quiet as expected as the site is close to the road. It may have been because of the holidays, but there were a lot of sirens, dogs barking and gun shots. We're from the country, so used to the noises, but not expecting such heavy traffic noise. We were unsure of the property lines, so didn't roam very far out with our two dogs. There were also other driveways from the property, so we were not sure which trashcan we were to use. We brought our trash home with us to dispose of properly. The instructions indicate there is no road sign, but there was a new sign up to help navigate us to the proper site. The location is very easy to find. We had to buy an extended hose for our black tank. There was one available at the property, but unfortunately, it did not fit the ones we have. We used 3 total as the septic is further away from the electrical and water hookups. We were perfectly centralized between Charleston and Savannah and the live oak trees with the Spanish moss were absolutely gorgeous throughout the area. Beaufort is a cute little town and the people seemed very friendly. We would definitely visit Liz again. She has a beautiful set up for a short term stay while visiting the area.

We absolutely loved our stay on Nichole's little slice of heaven. The sites were generally level and neatly laid out. The bath house was exceptionally clean and nice to use. The farm animals were an added bonus. We will definitely stay again on our next time travel 95.

This was our third time staying at Outside Inn. We love this campground so much. We stay on our way to & from Florida every winter from Virginia. We stayed for Christmas this time. It’s one if not our favorite place to stay. It’s always so clean & quiet. Very peaceful & everyone is super nice, welcoming & helpful. The animals are the sweetest & it just has that warm, farm life vibe. We look forward to staying again next winter.

My favorite campground to date. They were super accommodating when I asked to check in early. The camper I stayed in was spot on with the holiday decor, cleanliness and layout. Being able to look out the windows or stand on the deck to say good morning to my favorite little friend, Batman, was phenomenal. I got to help Macy with some feeding and poop scooping! She was great at answering ALL my questions and telling me some of their farm history and stories in such a way that was natural, casual and especially fun. Impressive all around. The combination of an easy-going and inviting atmosphere with professional standards is perfection.

Spending the night in our small RV at Dustin’s Edisto River RV resort was way beyond our expectations. There are only two sites on the property so privacy and seclusion are excellent. The restrooms facilities are VERY nice and are shared between the two sites. It was very cold during our stay (21 F) so we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the screened in cabana with sofa and tv during our stay but did get to enjoy cozying up to the fire pit in the Adirondack chairs. Can’t say enough good things, will be returning soon for a longer stay and use the kayaks to paddle on the Edisto. Our beagle loved the trail down to the river.

My group of three (and pups) loved camping out at Capt. John’s place! It was such a peaceful location with breathtaking views. It’s the perfect location to take in the Carolina sunrise and sunset. The bathhouse was a great amenity to have. Capt. John was a standup host who was quick to respond to any and all questions. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful place to take in coastal nature. We will certainly be back!

I appreciate the opportunity to camp at Montanna's HipCamp. The primary purpose of my visit was to camp and sleep in a safe place while I was participating in a lottery draw hunting trip at nearby Coosawhatchie WMA. Montanna provided clear and accurate directions to the property prior to my arrival. He also gave me a heads up concerning the rough road conditions leading to his property. I arrived later than I had planned but had no problems getting to gate at the property. It was dark and raining but the gated access was easily easily entered. I pulled in and drove down the fence line to the designated camp site, turned my truck around and parked on level ground. His wife came out and greeted me, gave me a quick but thorough orientation to the amenities. I met Montanna the next evening after returning from my days hunt. He showed me "The Man Cave" and I have to say that it is indeed impressive. I won't spoil the surprise with details but it brought back many happy boyhood memories. Montanna took his passion from a boyhood hobby and turned it into a passionate, professional and lucrative adult hobby that he is proud to share with those fortunate to be invited in. Since I was primarily there to hunt for 3 chilly and rainy days, I did not experience the other amenities available. I did see the nice duck pond, the tire swing hanging from the oak trees, the fire pit and picnic area and an extra bonus of hearing 3 Barred Owls talking during the night. I would love to return again

This scenic Lowcountry retreat sits at the end of the Edisto River Kayak and Canoe Trail. Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, the 988-acre park is a water-sports wonderland. Fish, boat, paddle, and swim in the longest free-flowing blackwater river on the continent.

Givhans Ferry is a popular spot for birders, bikers, hikers, and geocachers. Set out on the River Bluff Nature Trail on foot or wheels. It's a moderate 1.5-mile multi-purpose trail. If you came to canoe, the river trail between Colleton and Givhans Ferry is 21 miles. Allow 7-9 hours of paddling time to travel the full distance, depending on current.

Campers seeking comfort can choose from four two-bedroom cabins. 25 campsites have water and electric hookups. There are nine tent-only campsites.

The clean and cozy campground is equipped with drinking water, flush toilets, hot showers, and a dump station. Volleyball courts, a horseshoe pit, a playground, and picnic areas complete this peaceful park.

It is about a 40 min drive into Charleston which is expensive to camp near. This is an affordable and nice park
