The RV has an amazing view of the surrounding valleys and hills. There is a hill to walk with an even better view and boulders to sit on. The RV is in a fenced in area that is private with it's own separate entry. There is a cold water outdoor plunge tank, cornhole, picnic table and beautiful sunsets. Thursday nights in Ramona are amazing - there is live music at the local organic grocery store and just across the street a bar has trivia night. Also, there is line dancing and bands at a local spot called "The Barn." There is an incredible 25 minute drive to Julian where you pass the camel dairy, Trumpers Honey Shack, Julian Hard Cidery, Calico Cidery (organic dry and amazing), and then Julian itself. It is one of the most incredible secrets I have ever run across in the county of San Diego (in which I have lived to almost 20 years).Enjoy the warm valley views and take in the quiet. Fresh eggs and gourmet mushrooms can be provided daily. A tour of the on-site mushroom farm is available and if you want to learn to grow mushrooms or create your own take home mushroom kits this service is available.  Ramona has an amazing family owned natural foods store (Ramona Family Naturals) with food and music Thursday nights. After the music and food head across the street for trivia or you can take a quick line dancing lesson at The Barn in the same night! The ranch is surrounded by vineyards to visit and is just a 25 minute drive to Julian. On the way to Julian you pass the camel dairy, trumpers honey shack, and Dudley’s bakery to name a few fun stops. Then in Wynola just up the hill from Santa Ysabel be sure to stop at Calico cidery for some of the best wild fermented cider on the planet. Another 5 or so minutes from there and you’re in Julian - how fun! There are hikes within 30 minutes, numerous vineyards to visit, and the drive to Julian is amazing. The San Diego Wild animal life park is 20 minutes away and is a quiet drive through the mountains. The town of Ramona has antique stores and there is a fantastic local organic grocery store (Ramona Family Naturals). Relax at the property, bring your pet/s, walk the hill and take it in. It's a special place.

Great Experience!
Ryan was a great host. I wasn’t sure what to expect as this was our first time using this site. We arrived Friday night around 7pm, left Sunday morning. There is a covered parking spot to the left. Across the street there is an opening to a gate. The outdoor kitchen and outdoor shower was a huge plus. It has most of everything you’ll need. Outdoor kitchen has 2 single electric burners, toaster oven, mini fridge, pans, outlets. The RV is equipped with another mini fridge and freezer, microwave, stove/oven (but didn’t use it), electric kettle, plates, bowls, utensils. There were some towels available too. I will say the beds were very comfy! We used the back bed and the one near the front. There was another pull down twin but didn’t use it. The AC in the camper was strong and cold too. It helped since it was a hot weekend. Overall, the area was great for my family. We have a 3 year old and since it’s fenced in, it gave us peace of mind. Ryan gave us a list of things to do and see nearby. We drove to Julian and walked around and had their pies. We loved the ability to have a bonfire. Ryan left us some wood for our first night and we picked up another bundle while out. The sunset is beautiful. The location of the spot is fairly close to Ryan’s property so keep that in mind but the silos made it feel somewhat more private. It’s a good choice for anyone wanting a camping experience but some comforts of home.

Newfound love for Ramona and Julian
Quick disclaimer-we came on one of the hottest weekends, so if you are like some of my group and don’t like the heat, wait until it cools down. The A/C worked great, but I wasn’t coming to stay inside. The camper was plenty comfy! And the outdoor shower and sink were great! Never a problem on site except the heat. There are little burrs but not horrible. I recommend the Green Valley Falls past Lake Cuyamaca. Wanted to get to Three Sisters on hosts recommendation, but didn’t make it. Will come back to do that and some other hikes. My kids slept outside on his deck which he was so gracious to share. Beautiful sunsets were watched. Was a great stay! We’ll be back with some grass seed ;)

Ryan was such a gracious host! Providing all the essentials you need for a semi glamp experience! Which we were not expecting but severely appreciated! We brought our one year old and so it was really nice. With aircon/fans, COMFY beds (I am a picky bed person !) fresh eggs, firewood. The place was fenced in and so my dogs could happily roam without us worrying He was very kind and the views are amazing.

RV Camping 10/10 mushroom paradise!
I loved staying with Ryan at the fugal farm. It was perfect for the cold weather having a nice sanctuary in the heated RV. The land was beautiful and our dog loved running around in the fully gated area. Ryan was an amazing host who gave us fresh eggs and mushrooms from his farm. Now that’s what I call farm to table. We cooked some pasta with the fresh mushrooms and there were out of this world!! We got to feed cows grass right out of our hands and on the tour got to pet pigs and experience the whole mushroom farm. Almost forgot to mention the fun roof deck Ryan built on top of the RV where we star gazed and saw so many more stars compared to at home. Overall it was one of the best RV camping trips we had been on and will be back to check it out in the fall :) 5 thousand stars for this gem !!!

Magic!
Ryan's farm is breathtaking! The sunrises and sunset are nothing short of magical. Ryan took the time to educate me on mushroom growing, the benefits of eating mushrooms and how I can do it myself at home. I took home a beautiful mushroom kit that he helped me make. I'm a chef so he directed me towards all the local farms. It was extremely peaceful and a much needed respite. The camper ons cozy, filled with all the things you might need including eco friendly products, a variety of books and cookbooks, beautiful handmade candles and fun painting kits. I can't wait to visit again soon
