Located in the trees behind our home, you will find a quiet spot to relax and unwind. With paths to explore, scavenger hunts for the kids upon request, and several metro parks nearby, you will find plenty to do. Wildlife can often be seen. Games and other amenities available upon request, including firewood!Your private site is completely level and partially shaded throughout the day. You will drive to the rear of our property where you can securely park your car and carry your things a few short steps into your camp area. There are mowed paths on surrounding your site for your kids or pups to explore. We would even be happy to set up a scavenger hunt for the kids!

Very private campsite in a large and deep backyard. It was perfect for our needs--easy exit from the interstate. Quiet and dog friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

I ended up being a tad late and Joy kept in great communication with me. Such a quaint space!

Convenient and attractive
Tent
I was very happy with this affordable, convenient, and appealing campsite. It is close to the interstate, the advantage being that it's very easy on and off for travelers, but it is also subject to some highway noise. Otherwise, if you're looking for something inexpensive, attractive, and very convenient, I'd recommend it highly.

Cozy and comfy camping
Tent
Joy’s camping spot is perfect! I felt secluded yet safe. The sunset was gorgeous and her small touches made me feel very welcome and appreciated! The camping space is large yet cozy and private. The location is convenient to the freeway and in a very lush part of Ohio. I will be back!

I think different people have different criteria for what seems 'private' to them. So there is no right or wrong answer. In my case, it did not feel as private as I expected. There are two busy roads at right angles to each other, each .1 mile away. In addition, I-70 is .5 miles away. As a result, there is continuous traffic noise. Some people, I'm sure, would not even notice. But I am sensitive to that, and I did. Joy did a lovely job preparing the site for me, with fresh flowers on the table. The mowed paths make a cool little maze for wandering about. Really, it was just a mismatch in expectations, so I have no complaint.
