On private property, the space includes a private outhouse & shower, a community outdoor kitchen & seating area.
THERE IS ELECTRICITY. Lighting is provided by USB solar and an electrical heater for cold nights. A soft bed welcomes you, with heating blankets in the winter and cool sheets in the summer.
The tipi sits under beautiful mesquite trees with some shade but can get hot, and it's a traditional tipi. We have added an air-conditioner, too, for those 'dog days of summer in Arizona.

The Southwestern Medicine Women Workshop, for both men and women. Gigi will bring together several inspiring and informative hands-on classes, with a wide range of medicinal knowledge from Mother Earth.
The event will take place in the northern region of Arizona just outside of beautiful Sedona AZ. Days are posted that are available.
In life, this process is learning to “go with the flow.”
The schedule "may include", remember each woman is different & each journey is sacred and will change:
- Morning gathering, with meet and greet and questions.
- We will then do a desert walk, identifying plants, learning their true medicinal values, and learning how to make your own plant medicine.
- Finding with plant connects to your true authentic self.
- Learn about plant essences and how you can use them
- Preparing herbal snacks
- Creating your own smudge bundle and why it's important to protect some of the desert plants

Other things to note
Do I need to bring my own water? Yes and No, most times people bring their own water bottle, which is highly encouraged. Water is life and we need to stay hydrated throughout the day. If you do not have a water bottle, no worries, I will make sure you are taken care of.

Three (3) hours with Elder/Grandfather/Medicine Man of the Standing Bear from the Tsalagi/Cherokee Nation.
NOTE: There will not be hiking involved with this experience.
* Guided Stone Meditation - working with ancient stones. You will be introduced to the stones from the Tsalagi people and have been around for hundreds of years and passed down from Elder to Elder.
We will start with a deep breathing exercise to relax your body and mind. Stone Journey has been around for hundreds of years as a way of healing. Multiple stones create images from the past which can be directly felt by those experiencing it. It helps through traumas, past life experiences, and removing emotions that no longer serve you.
Most clients have been noticing a major improvement in the quality of their life, a better ability to cope with stress, and a sense of familiarity with stillness and contentment.
Guest will have the opportunity to talk directly with Standing Bear and receive a worthwhile 'healing' experience.

This is a nice semi traditional tipi in a backyard in a small country desert neighborhood. Nice trees, chickens, pond nearby. More than ample cooking supplies. Nice outdoor shower. Description on Hipcamp is accurate. We had a great time. Many hiking trails nearby.
