The accessible bathroom is fantastic and very well set up. However, it may be a little difficult to reach if you’re unsteady on your feet or using mobility aids. The astroturf path is quite bumpy, and you need to cross some sand before reaching it. I’d recommend Site 3 as the most accessible option.
It can also be a bit tricky navigating the loop with a larger van, and there’s a good chance your car or van might pick up a few scratches from the surrounding vegetation.
The sites felt a little less private than I expected, but the setting is still lovely. When the redgums are flowering the march flies are definitely active — they live up to their name! The host sells fly swatters and souvenirs, and we ended up grabbing a couple which definitely came in handy.
The finches, red-tailed black cockatoos, the resident chickens, and other wildlife wander through and keep you company. I’d definitely recommend this spot for bird watchers.
Overall I’d happily stay again. Next time I’d love to check out the kitchen and Bull Bar 😊
This spot would particularly suit people who enjoy wildlife, birdwatching, and relaxed camping, especially with smaller setups or if you choose Site 3 for easier access.
