Located 5 minutes from the Forrest Highway and less than 10 minutes' drive to the beautiful and popular Herron Point. The farm offers the country lifestyle without travelling for hours. With 54 acres of native bush and pasture, a beautiful dam with an island combined with an abundance of natural wildlife. Come and enjoy the delights. The campsites are private with a fire pit provided and you are welcome to collect wood from around the property. Fires are prohibited between 1st Dec and 31st March inclusive. While the main entrance is on Old Bunbury Road, most campsites are accessed from Dutchman Road. We have invested monies earnt back into the sites by way of limestone all weather tracks, fire pits and irrigation for the warmer months which also helps to mitigate the risk and impact of bushfires. The Northern half of the property is a combination of pasture and native trees, while the Southern half is native bush. Guests are welcome to roam the entire property with the exception of the owner's residence and sheds.

We loved our weekend at Herron Point farm stay on The Gums site. The alpaca's and emus, and next doors horses provided a lot of enjoyment. Direction were clear and precise. Paul was a friendly and welcoming host. A lovely relaxing weekend.

Timber Mill (Camp 6)
I had a good experience, however I went at a time of year when there were loads of mosquitoes. Lots of firewood which was nice and fairly quite.

Kangaroo Tree (Camp 2)
Directions were super easy to follow, cool To have the animals roaming around throughout the area was fun for the kids. Lots of large trees that provide plenty of shade throughout the whole day. Nice and close to town if you need supplies

The Gums (Camp 3)
Lovely grassed open area with lots of trees and Birdlife. There were other campers but we had lots of space between us all, and trees provided privacy between sites. It was gorgeous to see the Alpacas and the sheep wandering around and there was a baby alpaca only a few hours old following it's mum around the field on gangly wobbly legs! So cute! It was quiet and peaceful and the fire pit was an added bonus. One of the best hipcamps we've stayed in so far for just being able to enjoy peace and quiet and nature. Thanks Paul!
