Deepdene Farmstay is a beautiful rural property with a fabulous view! We have a number of unpowered camp sites located approximately 5 minutes drive from Augusta, which offers a number of tourist attractions and great fishing spots. We are also located a short 800m from Jewel Cave, which is a very popular tourist attraction and cafe. We are 6 km from the popular beach Hamlin Bay. Your campsites overlook paddocks of cows and horses, with a lovely breeze and a number of large trees to offer shade in the summer, while being protected from the harsh winds in winter. If you would like to camp out away from the hustle and bustle, in a tranquil and peaceful setting...then this is for you. However, if you like life's luxuries, then this won't be your cup of tea. One of the reviews said nice but a bit wild, I think they must be used to caravan parks or somethin. 3 x Compost Toilets & 2 x solar hot showers available. There is electricity in the camp kitchen for light use only (i.e phones, laptops, torches), but no heavy appliances (toasters, kettles, coffee machines, air friers etc). Dogs are permitted but this is a working farm with livestock so uncontrolled dogs chasing wildlife or stock will be dealt with as needed. Keep your dogs under control or please don't bring it !Deepdene Farmstay is a beautiful rural property with a fabulous view! If you are pretty much self contained and would like to camp out away from the hustle and bustle, in a tranquil and peaceful setting...then this is for you. However, if you like life's luxuries, then this won't be your cup of tea. One of the reviews said nice but a bit wild, I think they must be used to caravan parks or something. We try our best to fit in with the environment, so we have a couple of compost toilets and solar showers (for private not public use, for more info on this, please enquire ) and compost and recycling bins to try and do our bit. Dogs are permitted but this is a working farm with livestock so uncontrolled dogs chasing wildlife or stock which cant be controlled will be dealt with as needed including euthanised. If its hard to control don't bring it please!

Lovely
Very Nice campground with toilet and shower. Booking needs to be approved which wasn't a problem because Justin is very reactive. My reservation was confirmed within 5 minutes. I was very happy to found that campground on a last minute during a very busy weekend. Everything was sold out. I recommend that campground, surrounded my horses it is lovely.

Deepdene farmstay and camping.
9 ft pop-up camper ·
Loved the peace and tranquility and the bird calls morning and night. It was off season so pretty much had the place to ourselves. Despite the awful weather, had a lovely time and enjoyed sitting by the campfire at the camp kitchen and having good conversation and good wine. plenty of toilets and showers available. Nice open campsites with plenty of trees. Easy access to the towns of Augusta and Karridale. Reliable mobile phone service.

Easy
Just great to be left alone to have a quiet peaceful break. Easy going, basic camping, nothing like it
