    The Korweingy Recreation Reserve is a wonderful country hall and oval. It is 12 minutes from Daylesford and in the heart of the Wombat State Forest. It has a huge hall, kitchen, toilets and showers, and a huge oval. It even has a little lounge area. The oval is the same dimensions AS THE MCG! The site can accommodate up to 30 campers, and you'll have full use of the hall and all facilities. An amazing place for large groups to hold events, and gatherings and only an hour from Melbourne. Enjoy all the area has to offer, and come back to your own paradise in the bush. Wake up to roos on the oval and enjoy a barbie with your group. Please note the hall has power but the camping area has no power. If you live in the Korweinguboora area please email korweinguboorarecreserve@gmail.com to obtain a discount code.Come and camp at the beautiful Korweinguboora Recreation Reserve. The reserve has a large open camping area right next to the Wombat State Forest, looking over the huge oval where kangaroos will greet you in the morning. There are public toilets, a barbeque, and a spot for an open fire. Kids can play in the jungle gym and parents can chill in the shade. The hall has a kitchen, a huge hall, showers, and toilets. Absolutely fabulous option for groups. The hall has power however the camping area is unpowered.

    I spent the weekend with a group of mates staying at Korweinguboora Rec Hall. The facilities were ideal for our group of 15, it would certainly be incredible with a much bigger group. The split systems were luxurious during the extreme heat of the days and the surrounding landscape was very nice too. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking and serving items but BYO own kitchen knife for prep, none there. I recommend this place highly and great price if you’re a big group

    We had a fantastic weekend at Korweinguboora. Great facilities and a lovely safe space for the kids to run wild. We will definitely be back.
