Deep Glen is a beautiful, quiet 5 acre property at Eaglehawk Neck, gateway to the stunning Tasman Peninsula. Hiking, surfing, fishing, swimming, diving are all at your doorstep, not to mention the famous Three Capes Track and the Port Arthur Historic site just a short drive away. If you want to see the coast shown in these photos, both the Tasman Island Cruise and Wild Ocean Tasmania offer excellent trips Bookings are for two adults; children under 16 are free. It may be possible for larger groups to occupy one site - please enquire before booking. As the site is teeming with wildlife including the barred bandicoot, we don't allow dogs. There are no facilities on the block apart from a long drop dunny (byo paper) and a small supply of non-potable water so you will need to be self-sufficient though there are good meals at the nearby Lufra Hotel and excellent coffee just up the road at the legendary Cubed Coffee van. We only make provision for two campsites so you'll never be crowded. Other info: - Hobart 1 hour - Airport 45 mins - nearest shop Murdunna 10 mins Check-in: after 2pm Check-out: by 10am

The campsite offers a serene and peaceful atmosphere, ideal for exploring the nearby peninsula with its lovely beaches and abundant wildlife. Most campers appreciate the welcoming hosts, Stephen and Janelle, who are noted for their helpfulness and local knowledge. While the views are generally praised, some reviewers mention that the tree line can obstruct the scenery, and the site can be uneven. Despite a few challenges, such as the tight driveway for caravans and limited flat spots for tents, the location's tranquility and natural beauty make it a popular choice.

Gorgeous spot, great views, flat surface. Hosts are super accommodating, they went over and above. Fires permitted, toilet. We can highly recommend. Thanks so much for having us. Pete and Ange

Lovely peaceful spot

Quiet and peaceful spot with a far off view between the trees of the cliffs in the distance, a beautiful beach just down the hill and a drop toilet provided (we had our own bathroom in our camper so didn’t use it). We bought some wood and it was a very generous amount! Stephen was very friendly and had lots of good tips for walks to do nearby (we were there to walk Cape Huay). It was lovely!

Nice spot, but the view was more obstructed by the tree line than expected. The lack of a fire starter in the wood kit was a bit underwhelming. Clearer signposting of the two sites would make arrival easier.
