Located at the access to Tasman National Park, and sections of Cape Raoul and Shipstern Bluff. A great base from which to discover popular hiking, climbing, and world-renowned surfing in the area.
There are Mountain biking options in the area but just not within the National Park.
Campers must be nature-orientated travelers, this is not a place suitable for Port Arthur only tourists. There is plenty of space to select your site upon arrival, with the first to arrive for the day getting the first pick from the available areas.
Sites are usually green and grassy, with options for shaded areas and sunny areas. Those with a 4WD will have more options for secluded sites.
A composting toilet is available as well as a bin for food scraps only, any other rubbish is to be taken away.
There is a wood-fired sauna $5 extra where you can have a hot soak and a real wash if taken correctly. Also, a cold water outdoor shower and dam to dip in.

Nice private camping with a basic toilet and a sink. Didn't try the sauna but looked goof as well.
Great spot especially if you want to do the Cape Raoul hike.

Great place to stay
Tent · Group trip
It was an amazing experience to stay at Andrew’s place. We had a really good time, went to sauna and had great spot for our tents. Andrew also organized for us a fireplace. This place is just in the corner to Cape Raul walk. Would highly recommended!

What a spot!

Loved the location with the Raoul cape work right at your doorstep. Loves the outdoor shower! A little too warm to try out the sauna on our trip so we will definitely be back in cooler months 🙃 thanks Andy for sharing your slice of paradise.

Loved camping on Andrew’s well cared for land.
The Sauna and outside toilet are works of art with lots of quirky hand crafted features. Great spot close to the start of walks out to Cape Raoul etc..
Would highly recommend.
