Close to everything, an oasis in suburbia. 5 acre property, 30 mins from airport, 5 mins to Cleveland and Stradbroke ferry, 15 mins to Sleeman Aquatic Centre and Belmont Shooting Complex. 3 large grassed sites Easy access to public transport - 200m to bus stop, 3km to train station Only one site has bathroom access, Hillhead. One acre dog enclosure available for friendly dogs. Large grassed areas among gum trees, set high so there are sea breezes in summer. Lots of birdlife, with kookaburras, galahs, curlews, cockatoos and lorikeets nesting on site, you will meet our friendly magpie and butcherbirds too. We are in a koala zone and occasionally get visitors during breeding season, and there's been a few wallaby sightings recently. We have a small hobby farm with chickens and ducks. We also have a goat, native bees, a worm farm and an aquaponics system Plenty of local activities and events. Too many to list! Beaches, bush and city stuff too The closest activity is the mini-golf at Alexandra Hills Hotel and Conference Centre. The hotel is very handy for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you don't feel like cooking. Family friendly and reasonably priced. There is a playground for kids and a bottle shop. Defibrillator on property. Fire extinguishers on site. Farm Fresh Eggs Available...... Emergency Department 4.5 km away at Redlands Hospital.

Paula and Neil were wonderful hosts particularly since we kinda crashed their Christmas. Lovely grassy spaces set amoungst the shade trees. So close to all the island ferries or a quick run back into Brisbane CBD, hospitals etc.

Love Short Stump Camp
Paula and Neil are fantastic hosts. The property is beautiful and very well kept. Plenty of bird life. You might even see a koala in the area! Lovely neighbourhood to walk around. Big pub a short stroll with a restaurant and bottleshop. Close to shops etc very convenient. Plenty of refreshing breezes through the campground. Highly recommended.

Tranquility & Serenity-CBD Close-by
We have very much enjoyed our stay here! We were greeted with a smile by owners Paula and Neil. They were very welcoming and accommodating! The surroundings are tranquil and pretty, you wouldn’t know you were only 25mins to BNE central. We’ve enjoyed our stay so much that we’ve chosen to stay longer.

Convenient location when visiting Brisbane and the Redlands area. Very handy having the restaurant and shops close by. Beautiful gardens and animals around the property. Paula and Neil are lovely people and very welcoming, we will be back for sure!
