Very disappointing value for money…. We could hardly open the gate, as it was overgrown with plants. campground was also full of grass, we had to stay in the middle the way as we could not access the final position. We booked last minute so if you want to make sure you have good access, probably best to reach out to Carl beforehand, or come with a 4WD. Host was contacted and offered to help us out, and take care of the site. We left (backwards) very early.

Istayed here for a quick overnight stop, and overall, it was decent. The entrance, track, and camping area had long grass, but since the ground was dry during my stay, it wasn't an issue for the campervan. However, if the ground is wet, you should be cautious when driving into the camping area. The location is close to Brisbane, which makes it convenient, and the field is quiet, surrounded by trees, offering a peaceful environment. That being said, the price is on the higher side for what you get. It’s essentially just a field surrounded by trees. What was particularly nice, though, was the chance to observe wallabies around sunset and sunrise!

The location of this property is great. It was easy for us to jump off motorway to get to property. As for the Gabba, it was the best location. We drove 25min in, but could have easily have walked from property to the bus station. Not sure what difference having the metro station across the road open will do to property. Fairly quiet bushland tucked in the middle of a growing city area. Only downfall to property was the gate. It was difficult to see the number on the gate as number one and it is very overgrown with vine that made it hard to open. Grass as mentioned previously was high but understandable with the weather we have had the last couple of weeks. We would consider going back to this property and recommend to others but with high considerations to the above information.

Great spot if you want to feel lost in the jungle of Brissy. Loved the feeling to be in middle of nowhere at 360°, with kangaroos in the morning, right next to shops. Entry gate is very hard to spot by night, grass was taller the the 4wd, and we amost got bogged in a sort of swamp along the access road. However Carl was raisonably responsive that night and called us back before we backed off. I appreciated the quietness of the site. Thanks Carl

Overgrown, long grass at the entrance, track the the camping area, again the same, dont go during wet weather, boggy areas in the so called camp ground. Unfortunately not much of a choice around Brisbane outskirts.

A quick overnight stay for a base to go to the footy at the Gabba which was fairly close and convenient. Lovely quiet area with some nice bush surround's but very overgrown area apart from sites that had been mown, possibly a snake haven but didn’t see any during our stay.
