Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Park your motorhome or pitch a tent in beautiful nature. There is an amazing shaded swimming spot with Ulysses Butterfly to enjoy:) There is abundant wildlife always: butterflies, birds (Azule, Little Kingfisher), goanna, bandicoot, snakes and stinging tree's around. Campers need to be self contained. There are 2 sites available. 4WD access only, because grass driveway is a bit bumpy. Pets are currently not allowed. Remove all your rubbish. Enjoy an AMAZING piece of Nature.Ulysses Camp is secluded, with walking access to river. Escape to a private little hideaway:) ...... ..... .... ............................

The beautiful swimming hole and amazing experience with the fireflies at night time.

Not a great experience!
Damian doesn’t have any numbered sites and we weren’t happy that another lot of campers were going to just camp ‘anywhere’ which ultimately was going to be very close to us! Damian was rude at one point and made us feel very annoyed by saying if he had to he would sort ‘it’! Not the best way to handle a situation that could easily be sorted by numbering sites! Our camper made it over the very rocky entry to get near the river but it was difficult.

Loved our stay
If you are looking for peace and quiet away from hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. We loved our time here. The river is MAGIC! Only a 10 min drive to shops and half an hour into town. We would definitely stay again. Such a relaxing place and Damian the host is just lovely. Thanks for having us Damian!

Magical Getaway
Damian is a legend, super kind! We camped next to the creek and it was magical 1000’s fireflies gave an unreal experience
