Relax or get involved at The Peachy; an iconic, eco friendly, off-grid animal rescue farm... privately owned and publicly loved! We feed the farm animals and collect the eggs every morning at 8am so set your alarm and join in the fun. Jules, your onsite hostess with the mostest, will take you on a fun-filled journey where everyone learns something!
The dam is great for a cooling dip and there are kayaks here free for everyone to enjoy.
Book the wood-fired pizza oven for a night (or day) Great undercover area with big family friendly table and surrounded by passionfruit vines and herbs! Book in 'extras' when you're booking a site.
Our outdoor bath is a peachy favourite and just so beautiful at night or on dawn/dusk. Message us for availability or book it as a camp site...
Site name - NOT a campsite! Outdoor Heated Bath.
There is a lovely nature playground for the kids and a well equiped community kitchen for all.
The Peach Farm is centrally located within a 20 minute drive to close by attractions. Adventure; 4 wheel drive at Shark Bay. Swim; Iluka's famous beaches. Walk; Iluka Heritage Rainforest, from the lush rainforest to the amazing views at The Bluff. Explore; Yamba, Angourie, the Scottish town of Maclean.
Our eccentric affectionate mix of farm animals will win you over in seconds especially if you grab some feed from your hosts. All of our loving animals have been rescued as a tiny baby or taken in when their owners could no longer care for them.
Each site has a picnic table and a fire-pit and you can book a camp oven package if you would like to engage in some outdoor cooking. It's fun, relaxing and nothing beats a camp oven stew! Our community kitchen is a hub for get togethers and yarns, well equipped with a gas cooktop, toaster, kettle, cooking utensils, a BBQ, fridge/freezer, and plenty of tables. There are fresh herbs and eggs when in plentiful supply. Please use the worm bin for all your kitchen scraps.
We have an amazing composting loo but no showers yet.
We are pet friendly however we do ask that you have your best friends on a leash AT ALL TIMES and please do not get too close to the alpacas, they are protectors and will become uneasy and distressed. We strongly believe in 'leaving no trace' so please be mindful of our animals, other happy campers and 'take only memories leave only footprints'.
“The peach from can only be accessed heading north on the highway. If coming from the North take the Iluka exit and then just loop back to head north - 1.5km turn off is on the left straight off the Highway!"
