Remote, rugged yet you drop down into a beautiful green valley, the Timburra River sets it apart with magical clear waters offering beautiful private camping.
Easy short drive from Brisbane, Gold Coast or NNSW areas are another plus allowing more camp time and less drive time.
Perfect hosts also make it into the must return list!

Camping on the river with dogs
Fantastic place to camp, we arrived just as the sun was setting Kirsty meet us and we then followed her to our site, heaps of space right on the river woke to the sounds of rapids and birds the river is clean and clear the rapids are awesome on the tubes.
lots of fire wood had a big fire every night. We had our four dogs which were off lead most of the time free to roam the river as there was no one around magic.
Kirsty was a great host and good communicator.

The river and property was beautiful. We loved the privacy and our host Kristy was very helpful and friendly, she gathered us some fantastic fire wood. I loved swimming in the river. The directions to the property were clear.

The river is magical. We fished in it and floated down it in tubes. It is crystal clear and the temperature just right. Star gazing in the heated bath tub was a real treat, a must do! I would definitely recommend this stunning, tranquil location. It was the best family getaway. Will be back soon.

I loved camping on Daniel’s land ,it was so quite and relaxing. The river view was so beautiful and definitely will go back again soon.
